Hi cheers from Canada - although this video is 2 years ago; i have just found your channel by watching another Sao Miguel island vid on youtube. I was born there but came to canada with my parents when i was very young. I feel / understand all the great things you describe about this little rock in the middle of the Atlantic. Thank you and I hope you are doing well in life in general; you have a beautiful story to your videos, truly happy for you. I will be there in Sao Miguel next week, I also dislike the "city" and need to return from time to time to get grounded. Cheers

I was born and raised in Sao Miguel,never have I heard the word Azoresh or known anyone that referred themselves that. You make stuff up and then try to give it a reason just let it be and respect the culture and our way of living.

Beautiful video! Your voice and your energy is so touching. Brought tears to my eyes. I can really relate needing to be in nature to have a happy heart. I am a tree hugger too! I live in Hawaii and am very drawn to the Azores. We are 8 islands in the middle of the Pacific and Azores is 9 islands in the middle of the Atlantic. I love immersing myself in different cultures. Love your choice of music too and how we can hear the bird song and the stillness of nature. You are a talented film maker!

So I walked from Povoacao to Furnas (road for cars) and then I climbed Pico do Ferro. I used an app called "Mapy". If you download it you'll see a lot of paths marked with red, that's mostly where I walked :)

I find it weird that you and so many people have to use drugs to have a deep psychedelic experience. I wish dealers didn't market their product like that but they are taking advantage of capitalism and I can't blame them. But music does for me what drugs do for you. I'm thankful that the only external thing to get me to where you want to be is music. I like your method of storytelling and I hope your channel grows. I hope you keep telling stories and sharing your adventures. It's awesome.

You say that bc you didn't do psy. 😂❤ It's a medicine. I invite you to get curious. How do you feel when you have deepest connection to music? Music is such a beutiful way to connect with the present moment. 🧘
@surfntrucks5 ай бұрын
@@lovacsnova My mind is made up so it won't happen. My mind just needs data (Just learning and remembering.) I know how weird that sounds. But in terms of music, especially music without words, because it's free of outside influences. It's just me and how my mind interprets the sound. It does the same as drugs. My brain interprets it the same. I'm grateful for it and people who do drugs or have done drugs in the past can't experience that again. It's gone forever. Kids who are drug free still have a chance to experience the high from music without words. Music without an agenda. It's very hard for me to explain but I'm grateful for it. Euphoria without drugs. Just sound causing the same reaction in the body. Anyway, thanks for listening.

Hey thank you! ❤ Same here, I don’t need substances to enter this state. I can enter it with music, dance, meditation etc. My psy. trip was divided in 2 parts, I call them Sun and Moon cycle. Sun cycle was part of the trip where I had this familiar feeling of love and deep connection with everything. I even wrote in my journal “This is nothing new, I experienced this before”. However, what was different was a Moon cycle, where I had to confront my shadow, the most deep, hidden parts of myself that I wasn’t aware of. And this is what lead to deepest transformation in my life and I’ll forever be grateful for it, no matter how scary it was. Psychedelics are simply a tool, they can be used in a bad or good way. The important thing is that we don’t abuse it, but instead, use it as a tool for healing 🌙✨🤍

The dust of yesterday settles as you dance free on the winds of tomorrow, Laura. No cowardice in this exodus, but a symphony of healing played on strings of faraway lands. India, a temple of time where whispers of Buddha mingle with echoes of Steve Jobs's awakening, beckons. Let your spirit soak in its sacred ink, and paint your own chapter in destiny's book.

Azorian islands are beautiful however as your video started out saying it rained a few days. If you live here you can have 25 days of rain on a month and everything is wet and moldy. Painting a false narrative is shameful. Are they beautiful yes but prepare to live in a house that all your clothes are wet. If someone has arthritis or compromised health issue the climate can make you deteriorate in 6 months. You are posting a limited understanding for clicks...

Atlantis 😍 I spent 6 weeks there from late November to early January and was surprised of how mild the climate is, especially at night when it is much warmer than the main land. Swam in the ocean almost every day in crystal clear water and enjoying the excellent sea food. Highly recommended. Where you there during spring time?
