During the six day war in Israel in 1967, my mother was pregnant with my sister in Brooklyn New York and she wanted to go home to Israel to fight in the war. We were not rich my parents were barely middle-class, but my mom was a soldier in the Israeli army when she was younger and my dad talked her out of it since she was pregnant with my sister in 1967. I’m glad my parents weren’t here for October 7 they would have been heartbroken, heart sick, devastated and disgusted with the silence of the world.

I'm not a singer, but I know the feeling of "being in the zone" that Modi describes from when I've played music on stage. It's such a magnificent feeling. Like a runners high but time seems to move differently, everything else fades into the background.
