I have a gns3 lab topology like this : csr1000 as dmz router -> nexus 7K (2x) each as spine -> cisco IOU (4x) each as leaf -> each leaf have vm servers on it can it work? My laptop can't run 6 Nexus 7K lol Or do you have any advice? (looking for other topologies/alternative for learning vxlan for data center) Thank You!

Only thing I'm struggling with is finding documentation for a command like 'ip address virtual' for Cisco nexus9300v.10.1.1, as doing VRRP/HSRP over VXLAN would take up a lot of IP addresses if you plan on adding a bunch of leaf switches. Do you have any idea to what would be preferred in a scenario like this for the Cisco world?:)

That was super helpful. when i went through Knox's course, I had no idea where he had gotten the xml when he was demoing netconf. but then he move on to restconf and that was much friendlier to learn. still, nothing beats a REST API and json key value pairs for simplicity. Thanks so much.

I came across this video and implemented everything as suggested and even though I have installed the scrapli[asyncssh] library I get this error: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'scrapli_asyncssh:'. Then after the error it offers he following for a solution 'pip install scrapli[asyncssh]. After searching the web for a solution and not finding any, I thought perhaps someone on this thread might have a fix. Any ideas, anyone? Running Python 3-11

I just tried this config using the new PT 8.2.1. This version is older. I was able to get it to work, but more detailed configuration commands are required. This solution was easy to follow and I was able to figure out the necessary commands using the question mark (thumbs up). I'd be happy to share my solution. Thank you
