Hey man. Cool build! I have foam board you might be interested in. I manufacture Lam-Tek foam board and it is amazing! I have a pusher jet, doing 80-90ish, on a 37” wingspan with no spar! We did a bunch of testing with different materials. I’m currently making pusher jet kits and have 2 more planes in the making. Both V tails. Then I’ll be making 3-d kits with this board. I have a few vids showing it off👍

I'm guessing that with all your building experience it doesn't take long for you to produce another plane. Especially if it is the same or very similar model to one you've already built.
@FlyTimeRC2 күн бұрын
Ya, this worked so well I'm going to do the same plane. With a slight modification to fit the GPS speedometer.
@EJ-742 күн бұрын
Damn hate to see that. Did you figure out why it wouldn't fly right? Looks like a servo may have been sticking? Are you using 1 servo for the ailerons or 2? I was using 1 in my first couple builds but it seemed to always give me trouble so I switched to using 2 and haven't had a problem since...Looks like you're using 2 after taking another look...
@FlyTimeRC2 күн бұрын
Ya I'm running 2 separate servos. I think maybe I didn't quite have the CG where it needed to be. Also I was running a 5" prop and I think it just didn't have the thrust. I should have taken off at a higher throttle. I was about to 40% or so. If it didn't break I would have tried more throttle and maybe it would have done good. Oh well. I need to do a rebuild.
@EJ-742 күн бұрын
