NR79 and NR41 were involved in a major accident running 7SP5, in this video both locomotives were seen in this video days before the accident, both locomotives were scrapped during the clean up. Rest in peace to those driving the train 🕊️🕊️🕊️

these are real nice & I like them. they are new 12 orders that qube had ordered & is a class 2 of the first series models.they have no side finns on them, as SSR received the new models aswell.while as Qube received their 12 locomotives. i believe that manildra will be next ordering new 17 orders for them in November of 2024 from progress rail. SSR will be the operator hauling grain for manildra. they provide crew & rollingstock.

Nice 👍! Got the 2 in one shot! I heard that 4190 had major problems today (22/06/2024) at Hawksbury River! The passenger trains were delayed by 50 mins and the train never got to the destination! I’m not actually sure myself if it made it, but according to AnyTrip, it is sitting at Hawksbury River, last reported 3hr ago from when this was posted. Anyway, thanks for the video!

I saw a similar Mz freighter went by yesterday. Their normally travelling along the south west passenger line to Minto container terminal from Port botany & also they travel along the ssfl goods line.

Good to see a train I was hoping would enter Enfield earlier today here on YT! LG13 was last seen by my eyes near Olympic Park loop or whatever it is called. But considering I use AnyTrip, I cannot do much! Anyway, this is for the video, very nice train/locomotives! Something you wouldn’t normally see on the T4/SCO lines!

Dont really see SSR coal movements through South coast line, mainly Aurizon doing runs in and out of Inner Harbour(Port kembla), usually getting coal from Tahmoor and Maules creek

i remembered that qube logistics received their ones too. when they ordered their own batches. & are now classed as QL classes. UGL is usually the manufacturer that produces these locomotives.

I noticed sometimes the CEY's get used on freight runs aswell.because of the type of rostering they get doing freight & coal.

I remember they used to also have a AN Class in the ghan liverly too including the Nr classes. But their main purpose of An's was to being used as trailing locos. & the Nr's are the usual locos leading.
