Given the findings on thermal-lined tennis bags, it is reasonable to question the effectiveness of thermal-lined pickleball bags as well. The evidence suggests that thermal linings in tennis bags often do not significantly protect racquets from temperature extremes. This likely holds true for pickleball bags, which use similar materials and design principles.

I can't speak to any tennis bags or any testing around that, but in our tests, we've anecdotally experienced a noticeable difference in paddle temperature when using thermal lining vs no thermal lining. In our eyes, this is just a case of "better safe than sorry" where we prefer to do everything we can to keep the temp down-especially in hot climates. Obviously the best case scenario though is to try and keep your paddles out of super hot environments (cars, garages, etc.) as much as possible. To your point though, each consumer needs to decide if thermal lining as a feature is important to them. Regardless, we appreciate your feedback and insight! At the very least, this has inspired us to try and work on some before/after testing to show in videos. 😃

These CRBN Pivot glasses saved my eyes yesterday while playing doubles. A guy we were playing against ripped a forehand drive up the middle and my partner stuck his paddle out and the ball deflected off the end of his paddle at a high rate of speed and hit me right in the left lens. I would have likely had a serious eye injury if I hadn't worn the glasses.

Honestly I wouldn’t. First, there is no reason to do this. The lenses are great. Second, the strength of the frames is reliant on the lenses. If you take them out, the frames aren’t super strong on their own.

@@philosurfer3 Yeah I tested it and the ball would go through and barely hit your eye, especially if there’s enough force to push in the frames. Been using the lenses and the visibility is fine 👍
