Yeah it's different than the normal perfect guard, it can cancel combos and you need to press charged heavy attack button earlier than a normal perfect guard (which is right before the attack lands). The timing is tricky and it takes some time to get used but once you master it, it's super good!

Not sure which clone attack you are referring to, is this at 3:00? Or the other that he does a sideways dash, then a clone appears in front of us attacking, then, he will teleport himself to do the actual slash? In both cases, there isn't a way to avoid them, he does them more often if we are at mid-range or far away, however, even at close range he can do if he runs backward before doing them! In the end, it's RNG, it's random, there are fights where he does the above attacks more times, others less, and others none :) and thanks!

No, I didn't spend too much time on this fight. I did this a long time ago and at that time I was still learning and trying SL1 +0 for the first time. I didn't care much about other restrictions like status/rings/buffs. I just wanted to rush the kill haha and yeah, this fight is not that good for melee because the purpose of it is to climb and do the plunge attack lol

Yeah, that's RNG, sometimes he does it more times, sometimes less, that's something we can't control! We can make our part but in the end, it's random. Actually, I explain that in the description, I was a bit sad that he only did it twice in this fight because that's something I care about, I wanted the hitless fight to have that attack a lot because it's not an issue when we manage well our positioning and punishment windows. That attack is not the main problem for me, there are other situations of the fight that ended the run more often. I had attempts where he did 7+ times that attack and I got hit because other thing :) Yeah, that last moment was very tense, I could have been greedy and killed him before he went to the air, but my previous experience told me to don't do it because I was not sure if only 1 hit was left haha and thanks!

Positioning and knowing the punishing windows (time interval) after each Radahn's attack is crucial for this fight! Yeah, rapiers or thrusting swords are great for this fight. You will get it for sure, and thanks :)

@@MugiwaraNoLima I finally did it and uploaded it, thanks! Similar build, but I opted for bleed enchant and poisnous mist instead, felt easier than cold enchant+torch swap mid fight for me personally.

I hope FromSoftware does some tweaks on this fight to make it more enjoyable and fair, like, doing something with the terrain (it should be flatter), 2nd phase's stomp hitbox, Miquella's hair (too long, wide and bright), non-sense/bullshit RNG according to our distance to the boss, make the X-slash a bit more manageable to be dodged if we are in front of him without extra tools (however it would take much of the difficulty and purpose of the fight - perfect positioning management). Yes, it is definitely the hardest boss FromSoftware ever made to be consistent or to do challenges with very low damage output (or increasing the restrictions)! There are other fights more complex, and harder to learn, however, this one requires near-perfect execution and a lot of reflexes, you need to work on your positioning all the time, very punishing for minor mistakes! ​@@julianaskoe3260 as a rule, duo bosses are harder because we need to manage more than one enemy and avoid them attacking us at same time, however, FromSoftware normally designs good duo bosses and fair/balanced (like, one more passive using ranged attacks and other more aggressive chasing us)! But there are single-boss fights even harder, for example, Consort Radahn doesn't let you breathe, there are no cooldowns, you can't disengage, your focus needs to be in point all the time, and very few punishing windows and short time for attack...

I don’t know how you did this but each time i watch your playthrough i learn a little bit more and that helps me improve! And the good luck too 🍀 because rn I have beat Swamp monster, walker of Illusions, Corrupted Parade master, Black rabbit brotherhood and now I am fighting Laxasia the complete. I’m stuck but I know I can still beat her with enough time! I still think the hardest boss fight was the Black Rabbit Brotherhood pt2. I never actually thought I’d beat them but I did!! I clipped it cuz it was nuts! I consider it luck fr fr. I haven’t gone back to Lies of P for a while because of life reasons but I can try to continue the run and finish it. Having you respond to me really helps motivate me and I deeply appreciate it so much! I think since I’ve gotten so far I can beat the whole game at this point! I’ll try to do that! I love this game so that’s why I never gave up on doing this play-though. You proved to me this is extremely possible and made it seem easy which is why I never gave up and got this far in the first place. I hope the next game for this series is as legendary and exciting as Lies of P! 🙏 I will be prepared for it!

​@@Supboi wow that's great progress, you are almost at the finish line despite the last 3 bosses being really challenging! If you already defeated BRB #2 which is probably the worst fight along with Simon Manus 2nd phase (which was the hardest thing for me in the entire game taking into consideration the way I did it), you are already well prepared for what is coming! Simon Manus 1st phase is really boring with low damage output and it will take out some of the fun and enjoyment of the game while attempting it but then, you have Nameless Puppet which is for me, without a doubt, the best fight in the game and one of the best fights of all time, so good, I could spend hours and hours on that fight without getting tired of it, I can't say the same for Simon Manus or BRB #2 :D haha Yeah, this game is fabulous, it's in my top 5 games of all time, maybe even top 3, can't wait for DLC or a sequel! I'm glad to hear that I motivate you, that's the best feeling I could have as a player! And don't forget, everything is possible, anyone can do hard things as long as they are willing to invest the time, endure the pain, overcome all the obstacles on the path to the success :) cheers!
