From sweep picking lessons you did till now this one is the worst one. It's hard to know which notes you play or don't play or do pull off or hammer on or what, when it comes to the first and the last string of this arpeggio. It would be better if you would record it in a way where we could see your both hands at the same time. Then i go back and listen to the instructions at the beggining again and i thing i got it, but then when i look and listen to what you are playing it sounds and looks different from the instructions at the beggining to me, it's just so confusing...

Hey man, I really recommend my course "Sweep Picking Master" for the real course on this technique: metalmastermind.com/sweep-picking-master/
@BAD_B0O0Y6 күн бұрын
@@AlfredPotterGuitar ok man, thanks. I will check it out. I am not really into heavy metal, but my goal is to play Canon Rock, that's why i have started to learn this. The whole song seems doable with lots of practice except for the sweep picking parts, they seem mission impossible at the moment. As for this video i have finally figured it out. You do explain it but, i just didn't hear all the words. After watching the beginning for quite a few times i got it. I am a little slow, what can you do. ;)

What are some songs that I can play to incorporate these tips??? ( I'm kinda a beginner)

Quite honestly, death metal uses a lot of alternate picked tremolo riffs which can teach you timing and technique as you have fun. Hop into my discord if you wanna chat ? I reckon my other members will have some ideas for you =) discord.gg/G9r65Uu6vY

That's right, I finally built a guitar-neck-mounted camera holder for my Canon G7X MK.III. This means I am moving forward with "The Slowmo Suite" as promised. Each video (for example: "The Paul Gilbert Maneuver", "4-String Sweeping", and dozens of others) will be concise, bite-sized videos - demonstrating the maneuver at full speed, then in slow-motion with a spoken description & tips. Sign up as a monthly supporter to gain access to these as they are produced: alfredpotter.com/index.php/vipclub
