Romana was such a great companion. I haven’t seen all of new WHO but if she hasn’t already, they ned to bring her back. The best part is that she’s a time lord so she could just appear as a new actress and everything!

I appreciate that an animated version of the regeneration exists as a bonus, but as a farewell to William Hartnell, I think we ought to actually have the footage with William Hartnell.

I love the way The Master works a nice Nehru jacket. It is the perfect sartorial accompaniment to his well modulated villainy.

The saddest part of the War Games storyline is the Doctor , Jamie and Zoe all left , you can see the saddest in their eyes, I wonder if they should have kept both Jamie and Zoe with the 3rd Doctor so to keep something from the past , because all you see is the 3rd Doctor stumbling out the Tardis and falling to the ground and he’s on his own. By keeping Zoe and Jamie on I think would have been a better choice for a season and then the new companions would have come into future storylines down the line . But thats how it was done but it could have been extremely interesting……

The return of the Cybermen in Earthshock, was a definite surprise and in this story it is really no surprise at all the story is titled with Daleks so really there was no point in the Doctor sounding surprised given the fact he had gone after the Daleks from the last story.

This Time Lord is awesome he might be the same Time Lord in Genesis of the Daleks

I do like the shape of the Master,s TARDIS been a light, blue motorised horsebox and his TARDIS been capable of changing shape, colour and size is awesome he has full control of his TARDIS unlike the Doctor whose TARDIS is in some ways like a motorcar that constantly breaks down and is in and out of the garage been repaired only to have other things break down in it.

I prefer the original version, without all those extra gun sounds added. At least then, I could hear the music in all its glory.

My favourite Who story and Doctor. What an ending. Everyone dies basically, it's like Reservoir Dogs way before that was even a glint in Tarantino's eye.

This is actually worse than Susan's departure lmao. At least Susan had SOME buildup leading to her sendoff. What chemistry did Leela even have with Andred? She should've gone out like a warrior if anything, but at least we have some fantastic audio stories!

With all due respect to Murray Gold, who's an amazing musician, the modern music just is nowhere near as terrifying as it was back then! This is such an exciting cliffhanger!

I loved McCoy and Ace. In my fantasy, they had three more years together, taking the show up to '92, then a break for a few years. This was followed by the TV movie in 1996 which successfully launched Paul McGann's four-year run on the show, an era where the Doctor spent most of his time in America and was a little more romantic, we leave things in 2000 on a big cliffhanger with the Time War breaking out and McGann about to regenerate. Fans wonder if the show will ever return, but it does in 2005. The rest is history, until 2013 when the show celebrates its 50th anniversary and ends with the 11th Doctor about to regenerate. Fans agree that the show ended on a high.

Though Benton missed seeing the Doctor regenerate by a few seconds, he could've realized it was the Doctor when he saw him on the floor with a new face but still wearing the clothes of his previous incarnation before Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart told him who that was.
