I like this slower type of thing. Usually house and interior videos rush by, for some reason, and you get a microsecond view of any part, but when looking on a building you want to _stay_ . The whole purpose of a building IS staying. You want to take it in, get a feel for it. So thank you for that. Much appreciated. And on the building itself - very nice! I would have never chosen painted interior walls like that, but I actually liked it! Good inspiration, and maybe I'd go for that style too were I ever to build something like this.

Apologies if this has been mentioned in other videos but do you have an approximate square footage guess as to the a-frame size? (Great video, btw!)

Hi there and thanks for watching! It’s small. The overall footprint is 10’x16’, but you can see the end caps are not the full 10’ wide. I describe it pretty good in my one video where I did a full cabin tour if you want to take a look. Thanks!

Run your roof all 16 foot? Get 2 porches? Bookshelves would be nice at your A frame walls? You could start it behind set 6" or 8" nice bookshelves? Lots of storage? Nice angle? Focal points?

Hope S'Mores is feeling better! Really interested in what will happen with the addition. You are so creative that I'm sure it will be wonderful. Hope you don't mind if I offer a thought: perhaps you might put the bed back where it was and place the table in the new space. With a nice big window over the table and bookshelves nearby, it would seem really cozy and cabin-like. Also I'm thinking that refrigerators inevitably make noise and can express heat, so you might want to keep it at a distance from the bed for the sake of restful sleep.
@madplaider3 ай бұрын
I actually did have it set up like that off camera, so the new area would basically be a kitchen. I kinda want a hangout area to sit in front of the fire though! Once it’s all finished, it will all come together. But the little table across from the stove/fridge would be a nice layout!
