I use bookmarks to keep track of my pages.That way you don't have to stick anything on the page. And just about anything works as a bookmark. Even a reciept. And I use plastic between pages. That tends not to stick to anything.

When I started, I thought it would be a good idea to start with a portrait in Jewelery box. 😂 It looks so awful, I wanted to tear the page out. I've never touched the book since. Every time I see it, I think about how bad this one page looks. I love Hanna Karlzons books. 😍 I threw away a book by Rita Berman, and one by Lulu Mayo. And that was because of one bad page each.😂😭 I have/had the feeling that I had destroyed the books. I know how crazy that is. I have to keep telling myself, that the pages don't have to be perfect. I just have to enjoy the coloring. I love the pages in Summer nights. 😍 I hope you finish them one day. 🙂

Oh, wow; me too! I have the same reaction when I feel that I've messed up a page - it ruins the book for me. So instead of throwing out the book, I have purchased an extra and use the one I feel I've ruined as a test book. I will attempt to color a page and whatever mistakes I make in it then ends up being ok. I use those as "guinea pigs" to experiment in before I try to color in the "good copy." Try that approach instead of throwing out the book. This way you get your money's worth from it and have a 'road map' in which to color the 'good' copy in.

The page from Mytho that you covered wasn't too bad. I like it a lot, but I can see how it can be challenging. It looked mystical - still well done to me. Oh, the snake is so pretty. Yeah, I'm actually shocked at how well they've held up. I expected them to 'smell,' but the don't. They are like new. Sadly, I cannot find them. It's possible that Sakura retired the 'Imperialist' Line.

I've used them a bit now, and some are a little soft, others are stiffer. I'm not sure why that is, or if it is related to how specific colors are formulated. I'm still enjoying coloring with them. Only time will tell if they hold up.

Nice job I have these pencils got them over 2 years ago I just put one layer and didn’t think much of them but after seeing how you used them I’m gone to give them another try. I never thought to try them like you were using them. Good luck with you very long shift and hope you get rested up
