Hello, I am writing from Italy and I apologize if my English is not correct. Congratulations for the very useful video as was the one that explained how to replace the original battery. I would now like to purchase this lithium battery backup system for the same Vortech MP 40 pumps. I have to get two. The link rightly takes me to the Amazon website UK, but only some indicate products can be shipped to Italy. I therefore kindly ask you to confirm that the products are this one: Lithium Battery: TalentCell Mini UPS Uninterrupted Power Supply 27000mAh 98Wh Lithium ion Backup Battery with DC 12V/9V/5V Output Adapter plug: DC Power Adapter 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm to 3.5 mm x 1.3 mm, DC in line socket Female to DC Male Plug, Coaxial Power Converter for CCTV Equipment, Video Surveillance Camera, LED lights, Notebook, PC I wouldn't want to order something similar but wrong. Thanks and congratulations again!

Worth noting that AFR is DRAMATICALLY cheaper when you purchase it as a powder and mix it up yourself. Comparing just the liquid AFR price against Kalkwasser is a worst case scenario... I'd personally never really recommend buying the liquid unless you absolutely refuse to mix it up yourself (in which case you probably wouldn't want to use Kalk anyways). Solid video, brother!

How's the pump getting on? Looking to get one for my 180L but I'm not sure what size to get because you're running the axis 20 in that little 12 gallon at 70%

I sold it after 6 months of having no problems, but the buyer set it to 100% and it wouldn't work, so I'm sending it back to get repaired/replaced. So I've had 2 of these now and they've both developed faults. But for what it's worth, I've just bought the 90 for my 100L tank. If I were you, I'd go for the 90 on a 180L.

What's with these cloackly geezers using the finger? I'm assuming they weren't happy to be making this video, even though their channel seems to be reef, and by extension aquarium stuff the last guy was also water based, in the case of the ro/di for pure water, both being water based. Is it something in water circles that makes them bitter to be making their video, like what crawled up their assholes to annoy their viewers so many favorite comments LOL

I've been using it on my Cade tank for a few months and it hasn't clogged up yet. But some alk solutions will clog up lines over time. Kalkwaser is the worst for that I've ever had - all others seem to be OK and still dispense liquid even if the tip goes a bit crusty.

Off topic, but do you know much about the bubble magus curve 5? It's constantly overflowing since i added UV. Ive tried lifting it up at various heights and it continues to bubble up fast and water literally builds up in the cup. Ive taken the hose drain stop off to let it drain back into the sump and left it for a while to see if it would right itself. It hasn't so I switched ito off for 2 days. Just tried it again today and irs no different. Its switched back off now.

I made a mess of mine cutting it to fit around my overflow box. Waterbox give you a nicr glass cover for the top. But i wish id just went over it. Although then it is ouodnt sit flush at the back. I hated putting it together. How did you cut the metal? Im struggling with it right now. I havw an AI blade rhat sits on the tank rests, which sits on the glass. Sand the bottom of those middle bars, get some super glue and accelerator spray and glue the mesh? Then after remove the ties. If that wouldn't be secure enough, get another bar if you have more, and sandwich the mesh between them with an adhesive (I'd use a few spots of something that sets fast like super glue, combined with a stronger slower curing adhesive of some sort). That way it should look clean with no cable ties

Have you had any problems with the app? Frag ox corals and some other people have been saying they have some problems with it. Thanks for the video, this is the best bang for my buck light i have found.
@ReefDorkXtra
@ReefDorkXtra Ай бұрын
I saw the Frag Box video on the lights coming on in the middle of the night and checked mine (the app records when the light is on). Mine was fine. Reef Factory has updated the app recently and I think they've made it worse. It's still very good but it's a bit more messy now. I went through a spell about 6 months ago when the app was giving me problems - wouldn't connect to some of my dosing pumps intermittently for example. I think that issue was quite widespread and went on for a while so pissed a lot of people off! I still like the app but they need to pull their finger out. Build quality on their newer devices is better than before too but still not as good as I'd like (except for the lights which are solid). I'm less excited by new stuff from them now than I used to be so I think they've got work to do.

I’ve owned the Axis 40 for the past 7 months. *great pump* , but here’s a product issue I’ve run into! The date resets to February 7th, 2160. Clearly, a bit gets flipped from a 1 to a 0 somewhere lol. It happens rarely with no known cause, but once it starts happening changing the date on the app just doesn’t work. I had to unplug the thing and plug it back in to get it to chill. Then after a few weeks or month, the issue mysteriously reappears. Now, it only messed with schedules…. So all I did was place it in its own “tank” and had all my other AI products run in the main tank where the time and date is always correct. That way if the pump date resets, it doesn’t shut the lights off or anything. Super annoying, rare mystery bug you’ll see some talk about online. AI had sent replacement pumps for free to most I’ve seen… I’ve just kept mine because I want to find out what the issue is and determine a fix by hacking the pump to ignore it’s internal date and reference another equipment’s date instead to develop a workaround
