I tried this and never got it to work so we returned the items. I tried with a Proto deck, Proto neck, a Proto headset kit, and a Native Stem fork, but these will not fit together. Waste of several hundreds of Euros. I managed to get back half of the money. Lesson learnt. Instead I just buy fully assembled scooters for my son when he breaks parts of it. We have not got scooter shops in Belgium so there is no hands on help nor and in person advice available. My advice is : KZfaqrs make this look easy, but it is not in practice.

how do I get the 41 miles range? Ive owned the 2024 City Pro for a minute now and I only get 30 miles max range!!!!!!!
@ScooterHutTVАй бұрын
To maximize the range of your Apollo electric scooter: Battery Management: Keep the battery fully charged and avoid deep discharges. Riding Mode: Use eco mode to extend the range by reducing power consumption. Tire Pressure: Maintain proper tire pressure as specified by the manufacturer. Weight Reduction: Lighten the load on your scooter; more weight reduces the overall range of the scooter. Keep in mind these scooters are tested with a light test subject to range can vary. Consistent Speed: Maintain a steady, moderate speed to conserve battery life. Avoid Hills when possible: Choose flatter routes to reduce power usage. Check Weather: Cooler temperatures can reduce battery efficiency and range. Following these tips should help you get closer to the maximum advertised range of 41 miles. Regards, Scooter Hut Customer Care
@MisterGames19 күн бұрын
Range tests are done in non-real-world conditions. You wont ever get claimed range. Rule of thumb is, halve the claimed range. You should get that and maybe up to 2/3 claimed, with 3/4 claimed as super bonus but do not expect it. Of course, some sellers do their own range tests and use those figures, while others like tese guys just quote manufacturer claimed range. If they claim 69 then assume 35 to 46 in real world riding, consider yourself luck if you get 52.... Full charge, correctly inflated tires, flat terrain, don't weight much, ride at 20kp and you get better range than weighing a lot, riding up hills, trying to go fast everywhere with underinflated tires.
@ScooterHutTV19 күн бұрын
Hey there, the manufacturer calculates the max speed, range, and hill climb under controlled factory conditions. Factors such as rider weight, terrain, hills, power mode, and heavy acceleration can greatly affect these figures.

Not sure if this is a super dumb question. I’m looking to replace my bars with a taller set. It is SCS compatible. Do they have to be the same inner and outer width as the original set? I’m trying to get taller ones so the diameters seem to be bigger than what came with the scooter
@ScooterHutTVАй бұрын
Hi there! When replacing your scooter bars with a taller set, especially for SCS (Standard Compression System) compatibility, you need to ensure that the new bars have the same outer diameter as your original bars. The inner diameter is typically not as critical unless you are using a specific compression system that requires a certain inner diameter. For SCS, the common outer diameter is 34.9mm (oversized) or 31.8mm (standard). Make sure the new bars match the outer diameter of your SCS clamp. If your new bars are taller and have a larger outer diameter than your original set, you will need an appropriate SCS clamp that fits the new bars.

This is ridiculous, you're not even greasing the bearings, but just the casings. You need to pull the bearing casing apart to expose the actual ball bearings. Then clean the bearings before regreasing them, them being the actual ball bearings before then rebuilding the casings back to how it was before. Cartridge bearings are called sealed cartridge bearings for a reason, they're SEALED. So greasing the outside of them only serves to insure that they won't get stuck in the cups, but won't do much in the effort to actually lubricate the ball bearings themselves which is the whole point. Learn how to do something completely and correctly yourself before trying to teach others how to do it, that way we'll have less idiots causing mayhem on the roads.

Do you generally use the same grease for wheel bearings? I saw several people swear by 3 in 1 for wheel bearings. They said it's a good grease because it's medium weight, so not too heavy or too light.
@ScooterHutTV4 ай бұрын
Hey there! Using the same grease for scooter headset and skatepark scooter wheel bearings isn't ideal. Headset bearings endure rotational forces, while wheel bearings face harsher conditions with dirt and moisture. It's best to use specialized grease for wheel bearings, ensuring proper protection and longevity in skatepark environments. Regards, Scooter Hut Team

Just to add my experience. I got about 55-60 km on a single charge. Average speed about 15km/h (including stop lights), but spent most of the riding time at 25km/h. I spend 90% of my time in D mode and i weigh 100 kg. So I'm pushing ot fairly hard. Also, i think he was confused about the battery bars. The scooter has 5 bars. @@kiratp1221 Both will provide a great experience! @ScooterHutTV5 ай бұрын
Hi Zach, as shown in the first slow-motion clip dropping in, you need to pull up and forward on the bars very slightly as you're dropping in to lift the back wheel up temporarily and pass over the coping. If you don't lift the back wheel as you fall into the ramp, that back wheel will clip the coping and may cause you to crash or bail. Keep practising, you will get it!! Progress at your own comfortable rate, don't rush things. As long as you continue riding and practicing, nothing will stop you getting better, whether that's fast or slow, you got this! :) - Tom, Scooter Hut Customer Care
