259,000 miles on my T4. Plenty of cosmetic rust but I'll keep it rolling until the scrapyard calls in a decade or so 👍

Have owned our 1970 Early Bay (Dormobile) for about 14 years and love it. Would always prefer to be away in it than any 5 star hotel. About to take the ferry to Spain and then drive back to the UK in it - fingers crossed it keeps going...!

I run a 1998 T4 Multivan 2.5 tdi 102 bhp that I bought 8 years ago as a first 'taster' van for taking the family away camping and mountain biking. I've had a variety of interesting cars over the years but the T4 is just a wonderful thing. Great comfort and visibility, with a superb engine in the 2.5 as it will cruise all day on the motorway while returning reasonable fuel economy. I've kept it standard, so just use a portable stove when we're away. If it's just me then I'll use the bed, otherwise take a tent as well. Towbar and rack carries four bikes effortlessly. Also the Multivan makes a great taxi for transporting peeps around to events as it'll carry seven. Getting a bit crusty on the front arches and sills which can be a common issue, but they're a pretty solid van. I'll definitely miss it when it comes time to move on.

I get the fact that you won't sell, I feel the same, did a 10,000km run to Greece and Turkey last year and off the Alps, Slovenia and Italy next month. See you guys on the road and enjoy.

Next year is the big 5-0 for my '74 Westy. Purchased 12 years ago with 145,000 miles on the original engine, I put 9K on it in 10 years and then upgraded/rebuilt the engine a year ago. I grew up in one in the '70s and then got one of my own. My family thinks I'm crazy.

T25s are great (IMO), old enough to be quirky, yet modern enough to be comfortable with good road-holding. Due to their age, if you want a vehicle, you can forget about that will only require a service and mot every year, then don't get one, you will either need time to work on it yourself or money if you want someone else to do it...but rarely both. They are mechanically straightforward, so they are a pleasure to work on (compared to a T5/T6). Unlike its replacements, they are also quite large inside for their size, as the entire vehicle length is used for interior space. Mine has a Subaru conversion, it's never let me down. It has enough poke to keep up with modern traffic. Great Van.

I absolutely love my 84 westy. All original and no rust. Originally from AZ. I live in CA, so no threat of rot. Originally I wanted a T2 but this one fell into my lap and I couldn't be happier. Recently returned from a 2,000 mile road trip from CA to Oregon and back, with no issues. What a sweet bus. Great to see others love these busses as much as I do. Awesome videos.
