"Alguien tiene que ceder" en castellano ,una película no terminada con Marilyn Monroe y su gran amigo Dean Martin ,que sería la última película que protagonizara la hermosa e inigualable Marilyn.

This is an absolutely delightful movie. I think the studio lost its mind when it decided to cancel this. Marilyn had a sinus infection, and it looks to me like she worked through it 2 a superb performance. Brava !

The only bummer is film code back then stated you cannot make a film where the criminal gets away with the crime so endings are predictable.

People truly treated her foul. She was such a lovey, sensitive person. I wish she had just been able to live in her home in Brentwood with her little dog and have some peace in her life….the world sucks

I know everyone is here to fawn over her and make kind comments about her performance….but my god it was painfully obvious how bad her addiction was at this point.

She'd dropped the weight from her last movie, The Misfits. Her jawline and everything else slimmed down.

Marilyn was a great actress and comedienne. Too bad she was looking for true, lasting love and not acclaim. The former is so much harder to find.

MM hated this movie, and did not want to do it, but she owed Fox one final film on her contract with them. The film was doomed from the start. It had no ending, the cast was not finalized, and the script went through at least three writers, one of whom actually hated MM. She would receive script revisions each night as the script was changed, and had to stay up all night to memorize the new lines of the script. She often did not sleep at all, and was exhausted when she had to report to the set for filming. Add that to the fact that she was severely ill with a 102 degree fever and acute sinusitis, and the fact that the studios OWN doctor recommended that filming be postponed one month in order to allow her to recover, and when Fox refused their own doctor's diagnosis, they had a severely ill woman on their hands. It was doomed from the start.

She is astounding, beauty made woman: I think about what a difficult life she had behind the scene.I send her light and blessings for what she gave us.

Seems like Raquel Welsh copied a lot of Cyd Charisse’s acting styles. I never noticed before until this movie. They look sound and act alike (except for the obvious physical differences.)

This could have been a decent 60’s rom-com. Not Cukor’s best but it wasn’t complete. Marylin was radiant and her acting more natural than in many of her previous performances. Tragedy that things fell apart. I’m sure this film would have been a hit. 😢❤

Not sure how many people realise that there are scenes that weren't filmed that would have gone in between some of these scenes so the plot would have been smoother.

I read that the director shot that pool scene over and over. I wonder why he persisted given how awkward it is to see MM struggling to move quickly in that tight dress and how badly her hair flopped around. Just unfair to her imo.

at 29:55, Mr. Burkett had summoned "Boy." Unbeknownst to "Will" Stephen Burkett, "Boy" was actually Klaus von Schlotterer, working summers at the boat club to save for college tuition ,and whom would become one of the leading Skin cancer Doctors in the U.S. by the late 60"s-but that is for another time. By late 1967 "Will" Burkett had bounced up and down the East Coast as a Socialite and "Chaperone "to older, attractive women who did not fit the mold of 1960's beauty. "Will" had taken interest in a younger South Vietnamese ingenue by the name of Som Yung Phuck. Upon an invite to the Kennedy compound Will and Som were looking forward to hobnobing with the creme de la creme of American society at the Kennedy soiree. The winter of '67 had not gone politically and philosophically well for Will and Som concerning the ongoing American involvement in Vietnam. Will was old school-bomb and kill your way in to your opponents submission. Som took a more diplomatic approach-come to a peac3eful type of resolution.

My opinion: Marilyn was a great actress, she used the body and voice she was born with, a physical beauty. She had a good intelligent mind too and used it for her career, onscreen or off. Please give the woman some respect snd the women here who also want to voice an opinion! MEN: please stop trying to Bully and insult strong women!!!!'😅

Marilyn’s iconic white eyeshadow was developed just for her by her makeup artist Allan ‘Whitey’ Snyder. Snyder also developed ‘Lip Contouring.’ Very talented and interesting man. He also did her makeup for her funeral. 💜
