Thanks for this upload. The first two matches are from the 2010 Six Nations, most likely. In that Six Nations, Ireland beat England away and then Wales at home. Also, Geordan Murphy played his last Ireland match in 2011, which is another giveaway.

Ronnie, like me was a Dub4. He grew up on St. Johns Road, just down from the Tower in Sandymount, Me on Strand road, maybe 5 or six houses from the Tower - Number 141. What I do not remember at all is any of us having that Dub 4 accent. I do remember someone assuming that I was English which greatly offended me. I have heard a recording of my Dad (Donagh MacDonagh) on RTE and, by Jesus he had it. A terrible shock to me. You hear your Dad's voice for the first time in over 50 years and have no memory of it.

Yes! Before the Internet and teletext we used to listen to all of the results, especially the county finals. He had a fantastic soothing voice.
