I found the thumbnail of this video for sale on a clothing sales(???) website. No actual clothes pictured anywhere, but there were "Clothing," "Shoes," and "Kid" size options available... all for a "50% OFF last 24 hour !" sale price of $43.82. Anyways... Great build!

It's a movie *shrug* lol. I assumed the VFX artists weren't thinking about it outside of "earth analog" given the suns only generate one shadow per object.

I was a patient in that building from 1966-1969. It was not for the criminally insane, but the opposite, the patients with milder illnesses that had a better chance of re-integrating back into society. It was really quite lovely and progressive back then. Strangely enough I also took a seminar in data management there in the early 2000’s when Emory University was trying to make use of the old building. You got the look of the interior all wrong of course, at least the way it looked in the 60’s, but then I have no idea the renovations it had since then. There were no sub-basements. Besides a perfectly normal basement (used for utilities and storage) the basement was neat in that they had a series of tunnels to the outlying buildings (which are shown in your picture at 5:53) which also housed patients. In fact only one floor of the main building houses in-patients. The rest was taken up by offices, classes, out-patient facilities, food services etc.
@SWChris7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the information! I had to guess in a lot of places of course, based on videos others had taken. The real tunnels are pretty cool and I can see how Stranger Things took inspiration from them for its sub-basement sets.

Hi Chris. Thank you for this AMAZING piece of art, and for sharing your journey. I came here to observe your art, but your journey hit me really hard. I'm not doing well myself, but I don't know how to get out of my dark place without going through a lot of counseling. And it's going to be really difficult counseling that will force me to experience feelings connected to things I've buried very deep. It would hurt deeply, and I would be a mess for quite a long time, and I don't know if I have it in me. I cope by drinking; I drink every night and I barely speak to anyone today. I used to think I would finally get to a point that I want to change, that I want to resolve so many things from my past that my family inflicted on me. But the longer I keep drinking, the more I don't think that "point" will come. I think I could cope with alcohol for the rest of my life. It's sad, because I believe God made me to do wonderful things in my life; and I have and still am. But I don't feel much because I keep myself in a permanent haze to get through my day. Anyway, thank you again for this incredible video, and for opening your heart to your viewers!

For my issues, I went to a marriage and family therapist that happened to be a Christian for several years and a more specialized counselor after that for more years. It is hard. Especially the first session. That's the toughest one. But if you can make it through that one and still go back, it gets easier. You don't cry as much. That can feel emasculating but it's mostly because I shut my emotions off. You're not alone in this. There are many people just like you. You can do it if you decide to. Don't wait for your feelings to match. Do what you already know you should do. Just put one foot in front of the other and book an appointment if you have the means. Also, I have a few more things to consider. 1. Don't think about how long it could take. Think only about getting through the day in front of you. 2. It's important to make sure your counselor shares enough of your own worldview--you are trusting them to guide you in accordance with it after all. 3. You said God made you to do wonderful things. I believe that too. If you are a Christian of some kind, Focus on the Family has a directory that can help you find one that fits with you. That's how I found mine. www.christiancounselorsnetwork.com/ Watch the video any time you need a motivational boost. There's probably better ones out there, but use what you got. I'm glad it could help you. I'll be praying for you.

9:19 hold on a sec this isn't a Mario music at all. It's a Zelda Music more likely a Link to the Past Music.
@GoldenHairErik8 ай бұрын
I love a lot about this rom hack. It looks great, and it has identity. Some of the levels are just frigging awesome (The tetris world, the snowy city, the spooky grove level). The original music is also very cool and sets the tone well. My biggest criticisms are twofold: 1) there are moments where the heavy reliance on technically difficult jumps becomes gimmicky and tedious, and it slows down the gameplay significantly. 2) Like you said, the camera is quite awkward at times, even moreso than the original Super Mario 64.
