Land development contracts get approved on the spot but the city can’t even handle trash pickup properly. It’s going to be a nightmare. The two lane roads around here can barley handle the traffic as is and with 1,500 units that’s a minimum of 3,000 more daily cars on the nearby roads. Sad.

Thanks for update. I live off Blanton. Beautiful area until now. Displaced wildlife. It would be nice to ask residents who live here to work with us before deciding our fate. No to skating park. No thanks for the dollar store. And Torino Parc off Blanton will destroy our charm in this area. Very sad! I’ve lived and worked here for 35 years. Very disappointed. Solution- wildlife preserves botanical gardens. A park where children can grow vegetables plants etc.We love Winterlake’s park. Wholesome family fun. Except for the liquor and vape store at the end of the street. It’s a free for all for developers to do whatever they want. I’m invested in PSL’s success and progress and hopeful but heartbroken.

Florida is going to crash hard, the only ones benefiting right now are people in real estate, right to work states and poor wages will not be able to sustain 400-500k homes

I can see how you feel this way. It’s hard to say when the demand for people moving to Florida being so high and the inventory being so low. To be honest I know more realtors struggling right now than in previous years. With inventory shortages there is not enough homes to list.
