My intestest is Mississippian and Hopewell. I have never been to new Mexico. Its amazeing how things have changed since I was in school. All the timelines have changed. They keep pushing Clovis back. I really would like to work at the Gault site. Thats close to New Mexico

It's a FoRd, so you have to expect troubles. hence the old cliche FORD-= "Found On Road Dead" Had a '31 i bought 20 some years ago when Hollywood Studios liquidated some warehouses and yards filled with hundreds of of old cars & trucks and vehicles used on movie sets and in films for nearly 100 years, vehicles from 1905- 1950's. My Model A Ford was from the Waltons TV, show supposedly the episode when John boy drove his 1st car, i never watched the series but had a COA that came with that POS. I still have & drive my old nemisis a ''41 Chevy 1.5t dually/ short wheelbase flatbed, Daily driver for over 50 years with over 700k miles on the clock It's on it's 3rd engine now with an upgrade to '59 235 inline 6. The rest of the driveline is all original. It's traveled the Hiways, byways & backroads in all states from Colorado west.Though these days impatient people are just in too much of a hurry to enjoy the slow scenic drive, They are always Honking, finger waving, cutting me off, passing on the right to the point of "whats the use" I live in the desert southwest so i do still have local roads i can drive around on without speeding idiots to contend with & i use it for dump runs, but being 10 years younger than the Truck itself, driving and maintaining anything is more of a pain in the butt, than a pleasure to behold.

I can't say that Powerbelts don't fit all T/C's. But what I can say is they sure didn't fit 3 of mine. By fit I mean they don't make for a tight gas seal. And that equates to poor accuracy. I was so put off by them that I don't think I would use them in my CVA muzzleloaders. That's just my opinion based on past experience.

What is it exactly that you are agreeing with? My argument about how they got here? I have never agreed 100 with the alasken ice bridge. I will look up his name but I have been following the work of a clovis researcher at the Gault site when doesn't believe the land bridge and all the hate he gets because he doesn't follow the mainstream. If you question mainstream you get hate. They will even try to discredit you. I have an interest in Pre-clovis and peopleing of American. Look at Vinland. The Sagas said they were here. Historian didn't believe it for years. Then they discovered Vinland. I haven't Posted my video from Falls of the Ohio. Before they remodeled the place. There was vikeing display. I think it was a stone fortifcation that was destroyed when the rail road came through. The roman coins that washed out of the Ohio River bank. But what if some collector had buried them contempty. Anyways how did. Look at Angel mounds and Lunar cycles alignments just discovered. Or the work being done west of angel and all the points that were dug up and repurposed by later cultures. I guess what I am saying is I don't always believe what mainstream says. When history proves they are often wrong...

Thanks for the comment. I don't buy cheap generic parts for something like this. BUt maybe I should. As I show in the video I replaced with a A/C delco pump from Oralies. But when I get it out of the box it shows a manufacture date in the 90s. So I guess its new old stock. When I pulled the old one out you can see the sleeve is all ate up by my guess ethanol. We didn't have 10% in our fuel back in the 90s or when this car was engineered. Now thats all you can get around here. You can't even buy REC fuel here. I could go to the airport and buy 100LL lead gas I guess.

So are we saying the Tachometers on the dashboards are off? We shouldn't trust this? We should get an external tach? --This might be my problem, my engine is bogging down and stalling here and there; and just by the sounds of the motor I have been saying it's idle is too low, but the dash tach says it's to spec.
@outdoorswithcam
@outdoorswithcam Ай бұрын
I always use an external. Some dash ones are not accurate. There is a 3 position switch on timing. Of them for 4,6,8 cylinders. Some times switch can be off from hitting waves. Idle should never fluctuate. Once set that should be your minimum. Just borrow one from someone. You only need it once. Unless you do something like change mixture or timeing. Your gauge might be fine but what if it's off 100rpm...
