CO2 is released in high amount during cremation. It polluted soil(because the ass of the dead body decreases fertility of the land) pollutes river( as the cremation is done beside river , possibly the aerosol or dust particles flow with the swift of river water) Approximately 535 Ib of CO2 is released during each cremation. Besides it releases carbon monoxide(air pollutants), Nitrous oxide( causing ozone depletion). Besides, the natural process of the environment to decay every dead body by bacteria(Sometimes anaerobic) and it extracts the minerals and carbon content of the dead body. But in Hindu culture this process is not used and the environment cannot get the elements from dead bodies. TREES CAN ABSORB ATMOSPHERIC CO2 EFFECTIVELY BUT CO2 RELEASED BY CREMATION CANNOT BE USED BY TREES IN DIRECT WAY. IT REQUIRES MANY STEPS TO ABSORB CO2. Moreover, the other gas particles are extremely harmful than CO2. So it is high time to understand the effects on environment by cremation. Don't read it with narrow mind but with the perspective as a dutiful citizen of India. Thank you😊
