I owe all of your viewers an apology. I am the artist that created the depiction of Jean Baptiste Charbonneau featured throughout this video. My source for the illustration showed an image that I thought was Charbonneau but, in fact appears to be Jim Beckworth. I am in the process of correcting the error everywhere this image was published.

Wow, so this dude became a Crow war chief in the 1860s because of his valor on the battefield against other indian tribes. He was free and got a pretty wife. I just don't understand why he left that landscape. The perfect ending is a 20-something Crow wife, the Crows were very handsome then, especially their women

Look Jeremiah Johnson was a real person in his day. But because of his size a large Man and run ins he had with other frontiers men#!! And people in his time after Johnson died, began making stories or legends up#!! Hollywood got ahold of the stories/ legends/ much like bigfoot legends #!!😆🤣☝️#!! And ran with it all the way to the bank 🏦🏧#!! 💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵#!!

I was raised near Daleville, Mississippi, where the grave of Sam Dale and his monument are located. Dale served with my 5-great grandfather, Pierre Juzan in South Alabama, and also served and was friends with Pierre's son, my 4-great grandfather, Charles Juzan, both of whom are mentioned in Claiborne's book. Charles had several trading posts near Meridian, and engaged in business with Sam in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. Big Sam is not just Alabama history, but Mississippi history, too.
