I'm in the spectrum, when she expressed to her father for not giving up, tears just came rolling down. It's often the people that keeps holding on that scares me the most - I might be scared they'll give up on me..

Autism looks very different from person to person. Some people in the spectrum can graduates school, hold jobs, get married. Others will never be verbal, struggle with basic coordination skills, and have no ability to care for themselves. For some families an autistic child makes their family a little different for other families, depending on what services are available to them and the level of severity, it can be nightmarish.

I love how Ted treats his customers cause they tell others about him...They eventually come to him and the next thing ya know he's got people coming from everywhere wantn 1 of his vehicle's...I've seen several vehicles that I 4got about and if I had deep pockets I'd figure out a way to get to him and it really wouldn't matter to me what I'd buy as long as the price is right and I'm pretty sure that it would be...Best of luck 2ya Ted and hopefully some day I can pop up and buy something cause everything you have is nice rides...I just hope the good Lord above let's me be here long enough to make 1 of my bucket list items come true...

How dare you guys portray us like this. We are human, we are meaningful, and it is not a tragedy for someone to be autistic. If you care about autistic people’s views at all, take this garbage down.

This is based on the true events of a low functioning autistic adult. I am sorry that her life story offended you. The school has given her hope and a place to go everyday with people that understand her. This video took a very negative thing that happened in her life and made it a positive it is the exact opposite of garbage... this school has been life changing for her.

Wow. Why so negative? Autism has so many beautiful aspects. the tightest cuddles the best moments. It’s not a negative. It’s just a difference. Open your eyes.

Hi Tom, This video is based on a true story, i am sorry her story offended you. There is a lot of great things about autism for sure but sadly there is a reality of trying to figure out what will happen to low functioning autistic children when their parents are gone is very real.

@@carlydiane no offence meant or taken Carly. It’s a real issue and one I have to think about every day. Just seems to have a real negative spin on autism in this video that perhaps there doesn’t need to be. Maybe that’s my perception and we all deal with things in different ways. I wouldn’t ever want any child to feel like a burden or that they were anything other than a positive influence in their parents life. Keep smiling.

@@selfiephotobooth I get what you are saying but autism isn't always warm and fuzzy. Of course no one wants to hurt anyone's feelings this is about someone in particular with low functioning autism, as autism is a spectrum and is different from person to person but the video displays sad realities of what really happened. Her mom did leave. She did get asked to leave multiple restaurants, schools, stores, etc. she was often called a difficult child because she would break her teachers arms, because she got extremely violent. She has constantly been told she doesn't belong due to this. This school in the video took someone that everyone else said didn't belong and gave her a place where she did belong! So I think that the video is incredibly positive! And it gives her dad peace of mind that she has a safe place she will be able to go for the rest of her life when he is gone.
