I do love your videos but this is the first time I’ve heard music in the background. Please don’t think I’m being harsh here but could you please not have background music? I find it really distracting and what you have to say is so marvellous I want to give it my fullest attention. When you sing at the end, that’s always fantastic, too, but just not at the same time, please? Love your work. God bless you.

Too many things to explain how the Lord just used this hymn to do a miracle in my life. How He does it, I have no idea, I just know He does it and that there is none like the blessed Lord: Jesus, Lover of my soul - THANK YOU 🌹

My dad would do it as a special at our church, ever year or so. I have vivid memories of him practicing acapella. My wife talks of memories of her grandmother singing it, while they tended her garden. When my first wife requested it at her funeral the minister advised her that it was written as the words of Mary Magdelene, in case she might find that offensive. I thought it was considerate of him; she said that only made it more special to her.

I love all the music you share. There is place for the older hymns and the new worship songs. Its about the meaning behind the words that are sung and the praise and worship.

Hi ! I love your take on the new stuff. I am personally not a fan of mainstream Christian music but I do listen to new independent Christian artists. For me it’s not about the age of the song. I guess I’m just a Christian music snob😂

I am 60 Years old and I have loved this hymn since I was a young child. I often reference it in good times and bad. All things change, except for God’s love for us; He gives us the everlasting arms.

My favorite hymn, ever since I was a little girl. It always made me feel safe. Safe because Jesus is on our side and He shall win the battle! One little Word, shall fell him!

Love your gentle touch, but your constant interrupting is distracting. Playing the song through once then breaking it down would be a better approach, I feel. Thank you for your post, though. Many positives and a blessing as well..

I'm planning to have eye surgery this week and with that comes some anxiety. Thank you for sharing about this beautiful hymn. Alto I want good physical vision, most of all I want spiritual vision to see Him and His glory.

Today’s church music doesn’t resonate with me at all! There was great worship music in the 1980s-early 90s MARANATHA MUSIC, and HOSANNA INTEGRITY, Many annointed cassettes and CDs were available for home and church worship but you never ever hear that music anymore anywhere in churches today!

I love finishing my Sunday listening to this half hour of worship as it equips me for the coming week, so I would greatly miss it should you not keep doing it. I don't look forward to the time when the internet says NO! to Christian media as it has become such a blessing to so many of us over the years. The other posture I was thinking of was sitting at the feet of Jesus, resting our head on his lap with his hand upon our head blessing us!! It reminds me of Mary, the sister of Martha who sat listening to Jesus words... one couldn't get enough of them, so she was sitting at his feet, hanging onto his every word storing up memories on which to think upon in the years to come! Something to pass down to the next generation. So I love encountering Jesus each Sunday night through your songs drawing us near to Him through prayer & your thoughts behind the music you have chosen, truly refreshing!
