100% with you on the zip locks!! Been doing that for years. I find the tupperware boxes are quite useful as well for almost anything in the boat,,now my wife might disagree with me haha. Keep rolling out these videos bud your doing a great job!

Hey bud great video as always,,I absolutely love finesse fishing with the fairy wand. I build my own rods and have discovered a great blank for this style of fishing its actually a poppin cork blank from MHX 7ft 6in. MHX 903. It is absolutely amazing,,,,very fine tip and extremely sensitive tip with the best backbone Ive ever used on a spinning rod. Keep the vids coming my man Ive been sharing with all my fishing buddies!

Man i have fished KY lake most my life- fixing to turn 50 and in the last 10 years fisherman have lost the respect of other fisherman on 'spots'. Yes it's a public lake but for as big as KY lake is there are more than 1 hot spot on that lake. I have had a few good heated debates on the lake> I'll blow up a spot in a heart beat when someone does this, run on top of the spot crank up the death metal music and make a lot ot boat stomping noise.

Do you feel like there are certain times throughout the summer they bite the jig best? Like when they first get out there on those summer spots or then again when they are in the brush piles kinda later in the summer like July/August?

Forsure!! In my opinion they bite it the best when they have been getting a bunch of pressure. Usually after they’ve been out deep for 2 weeks or so when they start getting a little smart that’s when they bite it the best I think

I don’t feel like strike king misses too often with their lures but I felt like the thunder cricket was a big miss imo, doesn’t seem like the components are quality and after a few casts I lost the skirt, I’m going to stick to zman for my chatterbaits. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone unsponsored recommend the thunder cricket.

The new tungsten thunder cricket is a wire tie skirt. That is my bad for not mentioning the tungsten part. I will put the tungsten thunder cricket up against zman anyday. That is my personal opinion sponsored or not.
