My goodness you have so many excellent points. I don’t even have a tik tok account but i find a lot of those videos really exhausting sometimes, interesting. I have atopic skin so that keeps me from buying a ton of shower haul stuff lol. I like watching some beauty channels on you tube because i work in a hospital and don’t have the time to keep up with new drugstore or department store makeup stuff i dont have time to browse ulta or sephora. i like seeing peoples hauls from yes style etc. i have some foot sheet mask from aveeno and aquaphor and they are amazing after a long day of walking and getting back to your hotel while traveling. 😊

I got obsessed with makeup during the height of KZfaq makeup pushing. I followed so many creators and had to have so many eye palettes and I’ve hardly ever used shadow in my life. Exactly why I stay off TikTok and Amazon. I had to delete the apps. Helped my shopping addiction

Not just tik tok but even KZfaq. I don’t like TikTok but I agree that over indulging in anything is not necessary. It’s easy to be influenced and get the next best thing and we don’t need it and need to use our stash. Thanks for sharing. ❤

Before tik tok was influencing, it was OG youtube influencing our over-consumption. Mine began 100% with over consuming high end makeup. But now days, everything is shoved at me constantly 🤦‍♀️

I did buy some things back when the brand was newer. The last thing I got was the conspiracy pallet when it first came out.

Morphe is closing all their stores and meanwhile, Jeffree still has a cult following and his own star. Morphe turned on a lot of its influencers it seemed. I think you are so pretty and nice so I hope you and your channel don't get involved with any of that backstabbing that killed the beauty era on KZfaq. A LOT of other beauty gurus were complicit in that so-called tragedy or downfall. In the end, it was about MONEY, FOLLOWER COUNTS, BRAND DEALS, and not about BEAUTY, FRIENDSHIPS, OR THE VIEWERS. But that's business and what we all found out was they turned our little "KZfaq" our place to escape at the end of the day and watch "REAL CONTENT" into a huge corporate nightmare cash grab and made themselves walking, talking, REVLON, LOREAL, COVERGIRL, etc ads and the place we once loved became just like broadcast tv. So I think Jeffree can't shoulder all that blame for destroying the community he was just a huge part in the revolution of the makeup industry as a whole. His palettes really kicked open the doors of some companies and woke them da f*** up. I loved your video. 🫶😇😇

Everything you said about Jeffree is 110% true imo!!! Everyone is blindsided by the fame, fortune & essentially are sheep following problematic influencers because as we all know, he is not the only one that is put up on a pedestal because of the glitz, the glamour & the support they get from followers that buy into their façade as well as whatever they're selling/promoting. The same people though that end up doing a U-TURN are the exact same people that put JS up so high with his money/followers etc half the time, too. A lot of people redact what they've said in support for JS just out of fear of not actually wanting to get cancelled themselves or receive backlash when in actuality they think the opposite. That isn't to say there isn't time for change/self improvement and reflection realizing the very person you're giving power to isn't who you assumed to be, because granted I've been purchased a few of his lipsticks & highlighters in the beginning despite having a differing opinion of JS and that entirely is derived by me being what I said above, sheep following. Social media is very, very controlling & scary when it wants to be but it's about having accountability and knowing when enough is enough for who you're putting your energy & support into. These types of people, JS will completely change the narrative and act up to a specific type of personality, gimmick or whatever you want to call it just so he continues to garner interest whether it's good/bad for his own personal profit and benefit. Everything is fake, inflated & overdone to the point now where a lot of people are so totally over influencers altogether, end of the day influencers wouldn't even be a thing or taken seriously in the real media world if it wasn't from their fanbase continuously liking/subscribing & commenting. We give these people power, whether we like to admit that or not. Mistakes are made, we can grow from that but the same can't be said about problematic people like JS who sees no wrong-doing's with what he's said or done, he may say he's sorry but is he actually? Jeffree blocked me on Instagram because i asked him why is he coming out with a coffee skincare line when he doesn't even support the coffee industry... To me that was just a easy cash grab for him. I believe he should of collabed with Red Bull and did a skincare line with them.

Yes I did get into the jeffree star makeup with Mac and got his cemented and orgy palette. I regret it. I didn’t like him but was intrigued by his palettes and glosses. I haven’t even used them. I so regret it and don’t even like him. 😬 thanks for sharing

I'm currently not excited about too many things. Am also on low buy. Everyone is releasing the exact same bland products.. I don't want dozens of identical liquid or cream blushes or lip balms. It's pointless and they expire far, far too quickly to use anything up. I'm only interested in the Tarte anniversary palette because I love Tarte and it looks beautiful 😊 the crease less concealer appears sticky initially but that's why it adheres extremely well. But it completely dries down on me👍 I'm disappointed about the Chucky collection. It's a perfect Christmas colour story and now they wasted it on this🙄

I did buy some Moira single shadows and catrice stuff but ironically catrice had held up my order for some weird reason. It was paid for but never shipped for 2 weeks and I sent emails back and forth and finally they said we don’t know what is going on but will ship your items from our office here but 1 palette wasn’t avail and they totally refunded my order and sent everything I had ordered and then doubled it with amazing items to try. I was impressed by their great customer service. 😊

Great picks! I have Limoncello and Malibu Barbie and just got Cosmos . I have Tons of eyeshadow but lately been grabbing my PF 6 pan palette ( collab with Huong? ) to do both face and eyes. I’ve been trying to NPLB my Uoma Beauty Black Magic Carnivale and enjoying the looks . To me summer looks are either easy 1-2 = done ( bronzer / highlight) or colorful &fun. Jen loves reviews showed an easy way to do color was to bronzer/ transition in crease and color on lid + inner corner highlight. You might want to try that and pop the intimidating powerpuff lime on lid with winx lime as inner corner. I’m planning on ptp in order on BP Earthy 40 odd and a 8 pan profusion yellow. I think I want to get out more neutrals / colorsDC Latte 1,2 ; BH Hawaii, St Tropez and Tokyo. Morphe JH ones too and the JP Culture and others . Wander beauty and UD Stoned Vibes palettes have been easy throw together looks great palettes too. Too many palettes too little time. Grrr.

I haven’t been inside a bath and body works in a few years. I love the candles more than anything. I have so much soap and body care products to last a lifetime. I love sweet boardwalk fragrances as a candle and the pumpkin scents but love fresh clean scents and lavender too. ❤

I got 4 of the Kosas blushes (like I needed another blush) I have a ton of Laura geller and milani that is like it but who cares. I love them. And I like the elf laminated gel brow too. I love new products. I did break down and get the sol de janeiro new fragrance in a small bottle to try. I believe it’s the 48. I’m looking forward to getting it. Hope I don’t hate it. I got 2 of theirs that I hate #59 and the radiance and got the big bottles and stuck with them. Anyway, thanks for sharing. ❤
