I remember him in the 1960s. Loved Al Sleet. That was a great name.

He talks about his father and his brother, about their fighting personality and aggressiveness, and how it’s not in his nature. But, in my opinion, George became the ultimate alfa male in the room. Watch any of his appearances, you can’t challenge him, you can’t out with him, you can’t win the audience over. He certainly inherited the dominance trait from his predecessors.

The majority couldn't care less what this pathetic sociologist thinks. HBO only picked him up because he's the "swear guy". The guy is not original. Everyone forever have known Homo Sapiens are a flawed and crazy species ever since we got our big brain .It will be so until the species goes extinct through its degradation of natural habitats. No so called comedian with a motor mouth, made up soliloquies and an ego that thinks he can change things by attracting attention with "naughty words" will have one iota of an effect on human behavior nor change society.. His antisocial behavior and attempt to earn a living with that disability may have worked to a degree but he remained miserable. He was not a philosopher nor anthropologist. He was a clown with a pseudo intellectual approach and a social critic. Seinfeld has the same approach. This is not Philosophy. Anyone who says so has never studied Philosophy.

This is one of the people I regret I never got to meet, or at least see live. I actually only discovered him a few years ago. The other being Christopher Hitchens. I try not to have idols, but those two come close to it.

As he insults his audience they unknowingly applaud and laugh as they sleep while George slams them and whomever. Amazing how deep the sleep or wishful blindness is.. isn't it amazing how stoned asleep they are. George is a bright spotlight which shines upon the absurdly sick society he addresses directly for all 2C. Do you see it? Are you sure? Who explain it please! All's fine until your asked a question. You become defensive and project your lack of ability upon all whom ask you a question. For those with eyes 2C you see. You make your moves in the white<square's, avoiding the black squares. Avoiding the usurping little eggs. The hatchlings who peek outwardly upon your square seeking to destroy you from safety of it's shell. The shell it refuses to come out of. It suffers and demands you suffer along with it. This be wise to stay in your side of the tracks, do not go to a black square. System observed it's hatchlings and maturing white square's. It created a new day.. that day is coming. But this realm will continue as white square's are taken topside to witness. As it's written it shall be. And thy will be done through the white mature eggs. They carry no longer a shellback. And out 9f site from black usurping beings the white mature ones operate protected by the system. System operates through them, and system protects itself from being usurped. Good luck to you all. I love you. And will see you topside. I'll return to put the Mason blocks in place...

It’s really gross when people post things like this with no information. How about… when was this shot? Where? Who is interviewing George Carlin? Is this a show? If so what is it called? George Carlin “unmasked”?! WTF does that even pertain too? Why post this without information? Lazy? Arrogant? greedy? Maybe you are an SEO bot siphoning off George Carlin

I am 55 and my first exposure to Carlin was when Class Clown came out, my parents owned it and I would listen to it over and over when they were not home, which was most of the time....I miss him terribly...that album got me through a period of witnessing egregious domestic violence at home between my step mom and father when divorce was NOT socially acceptable, making me ostracized at school too...rough time made less so by Carlin's ability to just take me elsewhere, ya know?

A man ahead of his time that is still a great motivator innovativator a great entertainer that continues to inspire so many others. Undeniable genius as an 8th grade graduate. That always would make your bad day get to be a great day . And George was raised by his mother who bought him a tape recorder and the rest is history .

Carlins worldview was formed by his tough upbringing and his deep disappointment with his father. This is what I see. I will always love Carlins honest observations about people and society. It’s comedy with a heavy dose of reality. That’s why we laugh. We recognize it. Carlin was a good writer. A lot of don’t know that Carlins shows were carefully written. I wish he would have written books.

crazy how he died less than 2 years later after this interview.. and for those wondering he died of a heart attack 2 years after this at the age of 71.. and NO.. he wasnt buried and there is no tombstone. he was cremated.. and his ashed scattered in nYC outside nightclubs and some over Lake Spofford where he went to summer camp as a kid.

Never seen this interview before, a great insight into George's personal life that you never hear, obviously as a comedian his material is , as he would describe religion, make believe, 99% of it anyway, really good interview, miss you so much George, i watch you every other day so I can stay sane.
