Pastor Jeff Redlin is an unforgiving hateful person. He has banned me from attending Campus Church in 2022, even though I offered four times to do whatever is required to make peace with the PCC family. Redlin says I made "consequential" remarks on social media, so there is no forgiveness for me, I cannot come to Campus Church. What a shameful cult! It sickens me that Mr. Redlin gets paid a 6-digit salary, but couldn't care less about hurting divorced people, like me, nobodies who don't have tons of money like other Campus Church members. Redlin needs to get right with God. Where is God's love in this organization? Your fancy pews, cultural music and formal worship is not Christianity. Matthew 15:8, "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me." Sadly, PCC is a religious cult! I love you all with God's unconditional love. Just took my CRV out in the blizzard with 30" of snow. I can't believe how good it is. No problems driving at all. Way better than front wheel drive. I used to worry about driving in the snow, now it's just fun!

AWD is great for a little extra grippy snow acceleration but won’t be any better than the 2WD version while swerving or braking. Pair up a good rated winter tire with AWD to cover all the bases. Almost every vehicle I have seen in a ditch this winter are trucks and SUV’s. I think people get overly confident when their vehicle accelerates well leading them to think they have adequate grip. A quick braking situation puts them in a ditch or into the back of another car. Shop off season for good tread winters hopefully already on rims. $400 set of used winter wheels will turn most vehicles into winter worthy paved road solutions. I would take my minivan with blizzaks over a stock RAV4/ CRV / Subaru anyday for on road snow/ice driving.

Ness. Are you running stock tires? Regular All Season tires? If so you certainly should get chains for the worst conditions you might face. Best safety measure is tires but at the very least get some cable chains like Z chains. Marketing has sold people into thinking 4x4 or AWD makes their vehicle winter worthy, it doesn't. It helps for certain aspects like starting from a stop or deep driveway snow. It is deep imbedded into the minds of consumers that AWD = Winter Driving readyness. People must not get over confident with AWD. If you have stock tires then you MUST realize they will not excel in winter driving. Drive slow and don't expect your AWD system to help you stop because it won't. Your tires is what gives you grip not your 4 wheel drive transmission. Crazy how many people buy AWD SUV's partially for the winter driving and never ever consider what actually makes the biggest difference in safety and grip, the tires. Watch the comparison videos about winter tires vs all season tires. Don't ask peoples opinions for your answers because 9 out of 10 will tell your fine if you have AWD. Many of those people are the ones sliding into the back of you or off the road. Over confidence, ignorance of AWD and excessive speed get SUV's banged up all winter. Drive slow, keep your distance and don't expect your vehicle to stop at all on icy hills. All Wheel Drive does not substitute what tires can do in the winter. Watch this video of all these winter worthy vehicles. Big truck tires, 4x4, AWD, SUV slide like hockey pucks on slick conditions. The only chance you have at improved grip is a set of Winter tires. Once people realize that they take much more cautious approaches in winter in their trucks and SUV's. Keep in mind places like Canada that is used to bad winters actually tickets people driving on their All Season tires in the winter. This is because the proven performance / safety increases of a true winter tires. There are many modern studless winter tires (X-ice , Blizzak, etc)that truly transform vehicles abilities. AWD + Winter tires is like Peanut Butter and Chocolate, they just go so well together. Still must drive smart as you will never have dry road like grip in the snow regardless of tire but your grip doesn't drop off nearly as bad on a good set of winter tires. Everyone's abilities and snow conditions are different. Some drivers can make it through fine with stock tires due to driving within the ability of their vehicles available grip. Others damage their vehicles due to lack of grip and other winter factors like going to fast. Good luck, get those chains and know how to put them on before hand. Doesn't hurt to prepare a winter kit like extra water, food and sleeping bags in case a pass gets closed or you get stuck.

今天在翻譯周比克牧師講道馬可福音5章趕群鬼，他談到現代人，人與人之間疏遠距離的景象很像群的光景，罪的進入導致我們與上帝疏遠並和周圍人疏遠。他引用到Cain和巴別塔的例子。這不僅讓我想到我們這個原本朝著全球化越走越近的幾十年裡，突然的在這一兩年急速開倒車，可能是上帝的謀劃，就如當初建巴別塔時一樣。有時候不僅想到如果全球化的進程真的如原本預料的那樣使得大國們都和平演變成同一種世界觀，以人類的潛力，太平盛世真的指日可待。只是因著驕傲而建的當代巴別塔再一次被上帝的手摧毀了。
