I tried too. Sadly the Rc thing was too costly. I do want to keep making videos though even if the Rc content was more popular. Sorry you don't like the new content

@killeroffroadhobbyz i don't see how we literally bought the R/C in the raffle for you, you had a good thing going, shoot i wish i would of came up with that idea first.
@killeroffroadhobbyz11 күн бұрын
@@luigynkaren062011 Believe it or not I was losing money on the raffles. I would have to get the Rc back to as close to brand new as possible, It's not as easy as you think. Fixing everything, get brand new bodies and any parts that got damaged at all during testing. Making money on KZfaq is not easy. Some people get lucky but I was not one of those people. I miss Rc but my life path just didn't leave room for it. I invested 6 years into it and wasn't willing to do anymore. It was stressing my relationship with my wife even as understanding as she is. I was buying 2 to 3 Rc's a month at times and with them costing anywhere from $300 to $600 it was a lot.

Almost said KillerOffroad RC, in your intro, pause for nostalgia, side by side is pretty sweet.

I did the Rc thing for 6 years with little success, sadly I had to move on. Side by sides are sick and very fun.

I use the copperhead 2s stock tires and 4s backflip lp s . The lp s are smaller , not bad , different . On a v5 . Pinion came loose but it jumps 6-10ft high and lands ok I guess . I like the 1/10 arrmas a lot better 1/8 typhon . Seems like the 4s line up is a good choice imo . For me anyways .
@Hungrybird47418 күн бұрын
Now they’re pretty solid on the v3 so far . They seem to be solid . I’d add a top center chassis brace . Seems like the aluminum bottom braces are heavy and not needed imo . Now there’s so much aftermarket for this . I think the plastic spurs and plastic doffs wear over time , especially the spurs . I do like the truck and use it more than a k6s

you should look into the zrp dog bones or the lmutv rear bulkhead kit it allows you to take off one radius rod at a time without having to take off the plate and makes it double shear. for my radius rods i got lucky on some geiser performance radius rods and i have a ct race worx gusset kit i need to put on and a zrp alternator kit.

I got one of these that didn't have a single scratch or anything with 4 batteries off of OFFERUP for 50 bucks. Pretty sure it was never even driven off road. Looked like the guy bought an abandoned storage shed from the pictures. I'm pretty sure he googled it and one of the first things that comes up in the search results is something that says "typically 49 dollars" but that's just for a body replacement. A once in a lifetime deal for sure. Still can't believe my luck. Just one of the four lipos included costs 70 dollars and only 1 was even opened.

This is ok for a pavement princess. If you're planning on doing any real off-roading, this is a bad idea. Use a true coil spring lift. Spacer lifts aren't recommended for heavy off-road (collapse/crack risk). They're fine if you just want a little extra added meat for on-road driving.

Nice video. I have a cupla questions for you though. 1. How many miles on the motor? 2. Did you say you're running 37" tires? I have a 94 same engine w 230k and am running 33 x 12's. I tried 35's once and just didn't have the power. Mines a daily also that i do mild to moderate trails with. Does well with the 33's but the 35's made her struggle. Running 513 gears also. anyways nice job.
