this song makes me want to cry every time I hear it. reminds me of 2017/18. that was such a scary, miserable, heartbreaking time for me. I'm lucky I made it through to something normal. hearing this brings it all back like a flood, but I'm safe again. cheers!

Down a whole tone. DGCFAD. If you want an alternative way to play Falter then you can capo over 5 strings on the second fret leaving the low string open. It’s basically like having a drop-D tuning but with regular chord shapes for things like G. It’s something I’ve used a lot over the years, both in session and solo work. I will say it’s about equal on the difficulty level as the standard way, but a fun alternative. Either way, as far as I recall all Hundred Reasons songs are down a whole step. I hope you have fun trying these songs out in their down tuning.

My 3 favorite bands of all time, Society System Decontrol (SSD), Minor Threat, and State Of Alert (SOA). Yes, there's something about that D.C. sound, but it's really nothing to do with the location, it's the greatest music ever made! Two of those bands got no recognition, nothing, but hell, they were only together briefly. The other is perhaps one of the most famous & influential hardcore punk bands of all time (Minor Threat). I wish YOT would've mentioned their name. What a song! One of my favorite modern bands is replicating this sound, and doing a damn fine job at it! They are Restraining Order.
