The US Federal Government has had an AI Satellite Based Real-Time Mind Reading System for 20 years that I am aware of. Unless you are connecting into these data sources with your SOCOM contract you doing our armed forces a disservice. Not sure if anyone on your team is going to have the clearance to know about this, so I'll just open my big mouth about it here on KZfaq. I know they read my posts because they know I am spilling the beans on their tech maybe they will reach out to you and do our county solid. Without integrating your solutions into the real-time thought data of the opposing forces command and control assets your AI based solutions will not be as effective as it should be. I would also take into account the opposing forces use of AI as well because some of our adversaries understand our mind reading capabilities and will use their own AI systems to counteract this. It almost like you need to regenerate their AI Based Models and System from the mind-reading information that we have and run simulations against our own cloned copy of their AI Systems decisions making outputs to use as an input into the AI Based battlefield decisions your software makes. I would also expect that some of the adversaries you need to plan for also has this mind-reading tech so this makes it critical in taking some of the decisions out of the minds of a human and into the AI based processing. Its always a pleasure stating secret information on KZfaq that no one will actually believe and pay attention to. I guess my main idea would be to construct an opposition force AI System Clone from the mind reading we have on how they created it. Prior to your AI outputting its decision run a decision set against the opposition force AI System Clone to come up with the best action available. I guess you need to come up with a way to perform AI Mind Reading to supplement the Human Mind Reading. Feel free to dismiss my input...but in my opinion that would be ignorant.

I still can't find a clear explanation about when it's better to use Quiver and when it's better to use Contour, it's so annoying! Is anyone able to answer this question?

Exactly what we need Logan, you can read it in the Palantir documentation but this is much better to go through such a routine.

The video is challenging to follow for non-English speakers due to the numerous spelling errors and the speaker's rapid speech. It is recommended to invest in English language certifications such as IELTS or TOEFL to improve communication skills.

Do you guys have any 'Pipeline Builder' transformation project tutorial end to end. I mean how a Business analyst can Transform data, create a new column, or do a pivot table? I am searching for a tutorial for learning I am not getting enough resources to educate myself. I am a visual learner. Video tutorial helps me to pick up anything soon. I am asking help, seeking help but honestly found only 1 video on youtube as of writing this comment. Appreciate your help in learning the pipeline Builder module of Palantir.

As far as I understand Quiver is basically a "pandas library + jupyter notebook" software built for the non-programmers. Would be interesting to know if someone is able to create an open-source version of this. I guess the difficulty lies in combining an intuitive UI (which programming/scripting lacks) and powerful analytical tools and functions (that pandas/spreadsheets already have) and on top of that churning terabytes of data in seconds to produce the output.

Using the Transform decorator, how would you do loop operations through multiple Input target files? eg suppose you had 100 files in a folder called 'raw', and you wanted to just add the text "_transformed" to the end of all of them? Can Transforms only handle one Input file at a time?

This is kinda like DAX measures right? You're iterating through a table at the semantic layer. I am interested in how far you can push this given the deep layering TypeScript would enable when configuring.

I was happy enough to collaborate with Jonas Ritter for 2 years. He is one of the best colleagues I ever had! Always supportive, precise , responsive, knowledgeable. Even in cases he did not have a ready answer or tool he would find or construct it for me and us. Beyond that, he invested a lot in educating us (FOUNDRY data science team in a telco) and he produced an incredible amount of educational material on important matters such as repos, schedules, retention, HDFS optimizations etc etc etc. He also created a long list of very important tools for automating the platform maintenance. I miss his support a lot!
