Barely in and I'm amazed. First up, how did you change all wallpapers at once? Is it holding down shift? And secondly, this video was immensely helpful. I tend to struggle with putting stuff into corners or small shapes, so this is perfect, even just as inspirational material

Oooh, nice designs! The walk-in closet is particularly inspired, I'll definitely use that. Looking through your videos, it looks like you don't use console commands for positioning objects. That's kind of a shame; I'd love to see your creativity when it's not bound by the game's stringent spacing constraints. Either way, I've subscribed, and I'd love to see more castle-building content. 😀

The one thing that stuck out to me was, why are you calling 2 tile by 2 tile areas a 4x4? shouldn't it be a 2x2? I was kind of expecting 4 times larger areas based on the title. For the practical rooms: Jeweler: 2x2 tiles as you've used as well is the stock standard, nothing surprising there. Workshop: If you make the workshop a 2 tile by 3 tile area (1.5 times larger than you did here), you can fit in 3 sawmills, 2 advanced grinders, the woodworking bench, and some storage as well. It'll be a pretty tight fit, but all fully accessible, even without the wolf/frog forms jump ability. Tailor: If you add 2 more tiles again, like I mentioned in the workshop's case, you can fit in everything easily. Including: 2 advanced looms, tailoring bench, leatherworking station, advanced tannery. Alternatively, you could choose to include storage instead of one or more of these items, as the only spot that these would leave for storage, would only fit 1 of the smaller tailoring storage options, and it'd look exceptionally stupid in that area. I'd recommend putting a big tailoring storage container outside the doors of that room, or having the storage in the place of the leatherworking station, and only placing that again when you really need it, for a bigger bad, a saddle, or something like that. I really like the walk in closet/dressing room, and the bedchambers (both servant and player) as ideas for rooms outside of the practical ones, such as the workstation related areas.

"what the heck to do with the servants" Sometimes i forget there are PvE server, could not imagine building my castle withouth a worry of getting raided, could be fun to do atleast once, nice rooms btw. i like the mini room part, since im all pvp, i can fit the entire base in a 7x7, including loot, coffin and all stations and it works, would be coold if u could do some of those to get more ideas.

Oh my goodness, the algorithm has blessed me! I have some small spaces that I needed inspiration for in my current castle build and I absolutely love the amount of character you're squeezing into these smaller rooms. <3

I love that the wooden floor seems to provide almost like a grid which helps divide and align the assets, that was a good call to use it for this video!

I love this video so much it's simple but helpful in a big way and thank you for sharing. The big staircase, or grand staircase as I came to call it (Example Four) would be a great place to hide the Castle Heart. A lot of folk like having it on display, but I tend to role play a most of my sessions so as the most important part of the castle, the heart would need to be kept safe. And secret.

so normal castle, not worst not best, and better than your comment is play there song from castlevania or maybe better soothing music and just go with the vampire through the castle and not be frantic and chaotic, but calmly and slowly show everything you showed and commented on, it would be better - maybe next time :D

Yes and round structures

One thing I'm not keen on about the building system is the tree clipping that can happen. Sometimes you can fix it but others you can't do anything about because of it's location.

i think the main difference between the two is how you manage your time when playing, in pve you can take your time and follow any route to progress whereas in pvp if you want to have the advantage over others you have to take the most efficient way of doing things and weighing the pros and cons on every decision you need to do
