New subscriber. The term poser is silly. Good music is good music wether its metal, rock,blues,jazz,pop. A lot of metal heads are a bit one dimensional when it comes to musicn & its like they listen to nothing else but metal. Listening to one style of music to me is like eating the same food every day. KISS the band got me into metal even though they were never close to heing a metal band,but they were a gateway band for a lot of people who got into metal. Iron Maiden,Judas Priest,members of Savatage and Dream Theatre are all Kiss fans. I find it funny when people call KISS a poser band when they had released 44 albums,sold over 100 million albums worldwide, performed 3000 concerts in 50 years around the global, and hold the record for having 30 Gold alhums. Thats the most Gold RIAA awards out of any American band in history which is an incredible achievement and they are one of the most iconic bands ever influencing 1000s of people to learn an instrument and start a band . They are professionals and know their stuff,so to the metal heads out their who say Kiss are posers, well thats heing culturally ignorant. I get if a certain band or bands aint your cup of tea but calling Kiss posers is laughable

I have 2 specific examples here. RABM (red anarchist black metal) and NSBM (national socialist black metal). I myself listen to both. Im left leaning myself yet i still listen to nsbm, i couldnt care less about their ideology, if i like the music, then thats all. Though i prefer RABM cause A. good music and B. i agree with the ideology. Literally so many ppl that arent even left leaning like RABM, cause its good music. SO what i wanna say is, no one is forcing their ideology upon anyone, not from what i have seen at least. Also why not be a community? I can promise you that every other community out there has ppl of different wievs and ideologies. Its about the music etc, and enjoying it together.

Metal helped me find myself. Like minded people, it's helped me through some shit, and the lyrics can have truth and relatability to them. Sure you can relate to a pop song but not on a personal level like metal can.

Metalcore sucks because it was mostly emo warped tour looking dipshits trying to play metal. Actually, nu metal was probably better in comparison. At least they had more testosterone, edge, and attitude. And their sound came from 90’s alternative rock. Metalcore is just faggy. smh….

Somewhat disagree with the comic thing. I think when a band releases something along with an album (I.E Gwar, Bruce Dickinson), it can be really cool and give the music a bit more depth, especially when the musicians themselves are involved. I do agree that Holy Diver (and other legacy albums) didn't need a story though. Giving the album art your own story triumphs anything made up 30+ years later.

Funnily enough, Metalcore and Deathcore are waaay more mainstream than actual metal nowadays. Actual metal bands still exist, yet you have all these youtubers that talk about "modern metal" and mostly just mention metalcore and deathcore bands and of course...anyone that disagrees is a "gatekeeper" or "old" or has some kind of old mentality and that things have to evolve...as if metal wasn't still evolving without it being exclusively Metalcore and Deathcore. Hell, Ne Oblisvicaris (did I spell that right?) is an amazing example, I've been following them for a few years now.

I honestly thought liquid death was alcoholic when they first hit the market. More recently, however, they helped me greatly when I was making soda tab chainmail for a cosplay I'm working on. Better to just drink more water than increasing my soda/beer intake. Plus the gold tabs give it character

The fake metal stuff I think was meant to cash in on that flash-in-the-pan pop culture fad of people who don't listen to metal dressing like metalheads... there was a lot of that sort of thing a few years ago where people were stealing battlevests to sell on auction sites and weird stuff like that. Im going to stand on this hill. Liquid death is something I use a lot to replace a lot of my soda intake with. Especially during the summer. Also the cans are a lot more recyclable than the average soda or beer can. You can have your opinions on it. But I'm going to stand with it. They make a good drink. This is coming from a person who's not a fan of sparkling water. Also an 8 pack of of 19oz cans is roughly $13 USD at any local grocery store

Pretty sure the market for Liquid Death is recovering alcoholics or people who don't drink alcohol. You can get a can and people will assume it is alcohol at first glance. I get them when I go to shows because I like their marketing and the water is actually pretty good. I can support venues by not drinking booze, considering cans of Liquid Death do cost $5-$8.

As a comic collector, the comics one is definitely up-and-down, but what I've noticed lately is that all of them are being produced by the same company, Z2 Comics. And they are MASSIVE swindlers! They produced the Dio one you mentioned in this video, as well as ones for Pantera, Judas Priest (which I own, and it's just okay), Amon Amarth, etc. It takes them forever to ship the item (like, we're talking 1 to 2 years here...), and this problem is a global one. At first, I gave them grace because I'm located in Australia, and I know sometimes there can still be delays nowadays. But nope, this happens to their US customers too! Complaints are strewn all over their socials, of people still waiting on their preorders. For example, the latest Amon Amarth graphic novel is still yet to ship, I believe. And pre-orders began over 2 years ago for that. It's pretty wild. As much as I love AA, I learned my lesson with the Priest book, and I'm glad I did.

I had to do a double take on that Liquid Dea/th, as I do drink it on occassion; as it does have quite a unique taste. last time I bought it was 3 months ago for $11.23 an 8 pack... just checked Amazon after watching your video just now... still at $11.23 for an 8 pack. I can kind of see maybe where you're coming from... "Liquid Dea/th"... Dea/th Metal perhaps... maybe?? but, even though I do listen to DM, I never once associated it with DM. now, granted, I believe the image you posted is real of Amazon, but I think that maybe it was that, and was reported for price-gouging and then went back down to it's more reasonable price. Liquid Dea/th is water that I really enjoy sometimes, as it has a really nice, bold, crisp taste.
