welp, they no longer come up to your knees, cute, cuddly, and ready or ready to please

This song perfectly illustrates the perspective many in the west have. Do they have nukes? For certain. Is it a lot of people? Most definitely. Can we work out peaceful solutions with them? Probably, if we show mutual respect.

Happy they put the part that's in Chinese on the screen so you can run it through Google Translate. It actually does say "I like Chinese (people)" but I guess the second line is "are you ok?"
@ZhiyingHarp5 ай бұрын
Yes ! you are sort of correct! it says "I love China people. Are you good(ok)? Meet again!" "Are you good/ok?" is Chinese version of "how are you?" "Goodbye" in Chinese is literally "Meet again!" :)

My eyes watered a bit seeing Terry Jones (RIP)
@boudiccam4417Ай бұрын
This was how he was diagnosed with dementia. This show. He had the worst time trying to remember lines and communicating. John Cleese actually walked off stage (comically calling Jones a doddering old fool,) on the Graham Norton Show. In true Python fashion they made jokes about it. Cleese did come back and pop his head up behind the big red couch. I don’t think Jones had been officially diagnosed yet, and other Python members as well as friends and family grew increasingly concerned . Publicly, the other members of Python made jokes about it when they were being interviewed prior to the shows. All of the above issues that led to his diagnosis happen leading up and over the course of to their final performances as a comedy group at the O2. Dementia is awful. You lose a person twice. I have the greatest empathy for people who knew Terry Jones.

@Proud康米 Thanks for the info. And I mean, who wouldn't love "Communism with Chinese characteristics"? Right! Great stuff. Well...maybe Song Jiang wouldn't be a fan, but Mao didn't figure this out until after he read the book 30 times on the Long March and then banned it, like all great dictators. 他年若得報冤讎,血染潯陽江口!
@seand40332 жыл бұрын
@Proud康米 Actually, most Chinese are upset with Song Jiang lol. Right? No one likes this ending. However, we know that the author was imprisoned and pressured to change the ending. For me, the end of the book is when they all gather together at Mt. Liang and plan to take over the entire country, overthrowing the totalitarians. That's the correct ending. And maybe one day, I will write it lol :) In the meantime, we have a problem. Both this country and China and others are all moving toward increased totalitarianism. And it is creating instability and uncessary headaches. Everyone needs to have a glass of wine and chill out lol. Maybe a little meditation. After, All Men Are Brothers, right?
