I bought recently a Casio solar #5208 and it's a POS. I've tried multiple times just to set the current time and no luck. I'm tech savvy, but the instructions and You Tube videos are no help. The problem may be that my model (2024) is different than earlier models, so the instructions and videos are worthless. The button functions are different as are the words on the tiny screen.

I'm in Potland, Oregon, and the only radio signal watches that I've found to regularly and reliably receive the Ft. Collins signal are Seikos. All of the Casios (including Oceanus) and Citizens that I've owned have been hit and miss at best, and complete failures at worst. And I absolutely refuse to own a watch that relies on a signal app on my phone - that's just ridiculous. At that point save your money and just buy a regular quartz. I love the idea of radio signal watches but have been too often disappointed.

Yeah that foam you like isnt for sculptors. Its sold for home insulation. They dont give a damn about a guy sculpting trinkets in his garage when they sell that shit to contractors by the truck load. You dunce.

Hello Sir, thank you for the video. I just got the Coast GX35, it says 2300 lumens. And supposedly rechargeable. This is no where close to 2300 lumens. I live in the woods in a trailer and I have a definite flash light addiction. This thing doesn't appear to be any good at all. I'm gonna take it outside again, but so far it's horrible! It's not 2300 lumens

the reason why the specs are all over with coast products is because they constantly upgrade their models and don't change the name. for example I have the coast HP3R rechargeable pen light. 5 years ago they had the 285 lumen model, 2 weeks ago I purchased what I thought was their newest version that is 385 lumens. I circled back and as of the other day they released yet another HP3R now with 500 lumens! All with the same colors, design and model number. very strange way of doing things. But thats what Coast does. everyone uses coast lights at the company I work for. Their warrantee is no questions asked replacement. With a warrantee like that I'll continue to add coast lights to my fleet despite their weird way of marketing their products.

Well my grandfather had one. We used to have cattle so he carried the knife with him all the time. When he died I kept it as a memory of him. Im not into knives or have much knowledge but it defenitely looks pretty cool and special.

Wrists change. After I run 4 miles in the morning, I cannot put rings on and my watch is tight. After almost 2 hours and I am at work, the watch slides up my arm.

I have one of these Casio Foresters. They were just on sale last week for $19.99. Should have bought another but I really don’t need it. My keeper broke after 2 years and six months. My leather is also wearing now at the pin area. I just had the batteries replaced for $5.00 and it’s back up and running fine. I don’t know why, but it’s my go to watch. I rarely wear my Rolex. I did wear my Seiko Diver and Seiko watch from the 70’s. Also, my Apple Watch just basically sits there on charge not being used much. I can’t figure out why I like the Casio Forester so much. It’s light, unlike the Seiko Dive watch and it keeps great time. Yes, Casio makes good watches that watch Snobs don’t like - too bad.
