we went to negombo a few years back for my wifes 50th, loved the place, and found Lords to be a very reasonably priced restaurant, after sampling a few of the local hotel restaurants!

Definitely one of my favourite areas in Sri Lanka 😍 we dined mostly at the local restaurants, so Lords came out a little more expensive than those but need to sample some of the hotels next time!

Thank you! We booked directly on the Therme website and we went midweek so it was cheaper and booked for 3-4 hours with access to all spa areas 😊

Apart from taking the train, how did you guys get so easily from one beach to another, especially for the day?

Hey! We mostly got the public bus everywhere, it goes all along the south. The only trains we got were from Weligama to Ahangama (day trip) as it was around 15 mins and then from Weligama to Galle Fort we took the train and then train again to Hikkaduwa. Either way is completely fine. The train is more comfortable as usually more space/a lot quieter than the buses but can be really unreliable time-wise whereas buses are definitely more frequent 🧡

You can visit Transfagatasan, Transalpina, Transbucegi, Danube Delta, Turda Salt Mine, Bran Castle etc in Romania. Dubai is a artificial place in the desert. Take a brake in Transilvanya

Melbourne is great city but the weather is a little depressing. Sydney is also a great city but expensive af probably comparable to London. Definitely check out Perth/WA it has a huge expat community it has the weather the beaches and opportunity. It is just far from the rest of the country, it is the most isolated capital city in the world. But also consider Adelaide (affordable cost to live compared to the rest) and Brisbane (amazing weather/quality of life is incredible here if your happiness is tied to weather). Don't limit yourself to Melb/Syd. Happy travels xx

Trust me, as a Romanian which doesn’t live in Bucharest, our country is very cheap compared to others in Europe, the same goes for Bucharest, it is way cheaper than other capitals, it just depends where you buy everything 😅

Wow, we probably both briefly worked together at Coty (I was at GHD!) such a small world. You’ve done the right thing to go off travelling - I’m much older than you (lol) and I’d always say when you are in your 20’s that is the time to take risks and broaden your horizons. Take career risks, and explore the world. That’s what I did, and I have no regrets

You 100% did the right thing! You’re 20’s when you have less responsibilities (eg mortgage 😢) is the time to do this. Yes, was at GHD but at that time Coty didn’t incorporate us into the Wimbledon HQ - GHD HQ was in Soho in a tiny office.

ah no way! would have definitely preferred a Soho office location compared to Wimbledon aha, although I'd probably have been much poorer. I think a mortgage will be a longggg way away for us now, or we could potentially be renting forever with the market 😭

Hello from New York! This was a great video to watch since I’m going to Krakow in a few weeks. I know it’s pretty common for many European countries to speak English in addition to their native language. How was it navigating if you don’t speak any Polish?

hey there (I actually used to live in NYC aha!) thanks so much, hope you enjoy your trip! we found it very easy to navigate with no Polish ourselves and almost everyone spoke a good degree of English so we had no difficulties at all. I would say the same for most European cities we've visited too 😊
