I happen to be a mechanic for CSX and can say without a doubt this is on of the easiest to maintain and most cost effective machine for this type of work. Put a good operator on the Mark IV and I will put it up against the rest of them. Plots forward and reverse. Plots surface and line. Once that is done edit your recording. Then it’s off to the races. Plus the calibration process is idiot proof.

We had the Massey-Ferguson 540 Combine on our dairy farm in Ontario, Canada. I worked on our family dairy farm until I was 28 years old and left, it was the single biggest mistake of my life as farming is all I ever wanted to do, and all I was ever really good at.

Australia here. This caught my interest as my neighbour runs a 1666 on grain and a guy down the road runs a 2390. I use my other neighbour to do my crops with an old Inter 1440. We use Australian Inter and dodge trucks from the '70's. I farm 1000 acres with Inter 4586,766 and 1586.

Those carts always did that when you didn't line them up perfectly. We had a old Parker 400 grain cart that did that. Just had to re put out the auger
