You seem like a good boss. You explain everything in detail clearly and calmly. Remember to let them know when they're doing good. It helps to know that your not only progressing but the company appreciates the hard work they're doing. It will either leave you with a bad employee who you know to fire or an employee which will do whatever you need not matter the task. In other words, it helps weed out the bad. Feel free to ask how I know

For this print would you ever consider doing 3 screens? Underbase 160, Brown 305, Highlight cream on a 160 or 200? If so would you strategize hitting the brown last still or the highlight cream? I used to hit flash hit the underbase but have been trying to move away from it as much as possible to avoid the moire effect and keep the prints as thin as possible. Great job on the design and the print! Keep up the good work.

@@scotlandskysurf8948 that could work, in my experience, finishing with the brown would work best. Easier to finish with the positive (brown ink). I like thinner prints for sure! Thanks for the good words! -Steven

What about using an EcoTank scenario. (Such as the Epson 8550). Refillable ink tanks (you refill it without any syringes or cup to cup ).

@@josephKEOarthur I definitely like the eco tank printers, but they cost more. Whatever works as long as the film blocks the light!

Thanks for the info on the printer. I have the IP8720 and the ink did not last long at all. Could you tell me where you got the ink and cartridges from or can I get them from your store? I did buy my screen print machine from your store in Sac. Do you have these items on the shelf? Thanks again!!!!

I don’t know why the KZfaq algorithm suggested this video to me, but I’m watching hoping to find out what is “screen printing” 😁 Ii’s the first time I’m hearing anything about this subject Edit: I’ve just heard another term “printing film”… I’m not going to rewind, but I’m pretty sure that the first time I heard “screen printing”. Now I’m wondering if they’re both the same :))

Not sure where you purchased those refillable cartridges, but I had similar ones for my pixma ix6820, and the cartridges never reset. It did not matter if they were completely filled with ink. The printer would detect them as empty.

Man, great timing on this! I've got a used Canon Pixma Pro100 that I have struggled and succeeded with since starting to screenprint from my garage a couple of years ago. I just recently thought, okay, maybe it's time to buy a new printer. Do you sell the all black ink system you showed in the video. I am going to check this out ASAP! Also.....very interested in your classes! Thanks for the video :)

Hey I was wondering what the difference in pulling vs pushing the ink through. Does it bleed less or something? I thought that usually came from the flood or the mesh count but just wondering as I was taught to pull the screen toward me and not push because it can rip the silk with new squeegees???

If you make a table template you don't have to use a t square every time. Lay film down on table, place screen on top of film and voila. Hit me up if you want a video.

Thanks! If you're using plastisol ink, just use a press wash that is formulated for plastisol. If you're using waterbased inks, be sure to request that your screen be chemically hardened to resist stencil breakdown.. You can use water to wash off waterbased ink (not plastisol), but don't scrub your screen with anything too abrasive or put chemicals on it or it may break down. Keep on printin'!
