So far so good with this vacuum. kzfaq.infoUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

My J7+ (two months old) has stopped avoiding things and no longer shows me obstacle photos. I have gone to the map and reset obstacle sensing with no luck so I did a factory reset with no luck. It's like the camera is not working. Do you have any ideas I can try?

Robots gone wild lol. Make sure all the sensors are clean and there is enough ambient light if you haven't already. If that doesn't work, time to contact customer support. Good luck.

How wide is your ramp path? Why did you choose to construct it wider than the max width of the vac? Would it not go straight down otherwise? Just curious if you found that it needs wiggle room to maneuver properly.
@roboskerritt Жыл бұрын
I wasn't sure how the Roomba would handle a very narrow path, so I went a few inches wider than the robot. I think it would work fine with only 1" clearance.

How did u get the end of the ramp that it didn’t get hung up on. It’s smooth to the floor?
@roboskerritt2 жыл бұрын
Correct, the top of the ramp is flush with the floor height. There is a small undercut on the sidewalls so it stays in the correct spot.

I was wondering if this was going to be possible. In the past I’ve always had to physically lift and move them the 2 steps up and down my main floor. Family Room 2 steps down on East side, Living Room 2 steps down on west side. Now I’ll try building 2 ramps and see?? Thanks 😊

I wonder how far away we are from an iRobot floor cleaner actually capable of vacuuming/cleaning AND maneuvering it’s way up a staircase at the same time. I don’t think we are too far off… they can clean outside windows, clean out gutters, mow the lawn, and so on… I’m looking forward to testing that out.

Interesting. I am about to make a ramp for one stair. It occurred to me that a thin carpet runner material would increase friction. Also, are the edges necessary? It shouldn’t fall off anyway.
@roboskerritt3 жыл бұрын
Carpet is a good idea. The edges aren't absolutely necessary, but they are nice to have. They prevent the Roomba from getting stuck with one wheel off the ramp, help with navigation, and add strength to the ramp.
