You should tap them withot the feeler gauge inserted, it's for measurement only and prevents the adjustment if you have it there. You'll damage the electrode doing what you did.

I'm having crank no start issue. I have spark everything. Would the oik pressure sender unit prevent ecu letting injectors spray?
@nordicDIYchannel3 ай бұрын
Don’t think so. Engine has no oil pressure untiil it runs so it needs to allow start first. I think those systems get activated by generator current. Do ypu get enough fuel?
@dronesdopedro2 ай бұрын
if theres no oil pressure there is no corrent for the gasoline pump and the engin wont start. theres a low oil pressure sensor with 2 wires on the right side of the engine with also a oil gauge sender with only one wire. you must jump the 2 wieres from the low oil presure sensor turn que key and you will listen to the gasoline pump working and the engine sould start and you can buy a new sensor, if you dont listen the gasoline pump working theres something wrong with it or the wires. the oil presure sensor on the back side of the engine as shown here is only for the buzzer alarme.

Hi, it was a 4mm tempered blue-ish non-laminated glass. In case of breakage it will shatter like all tempered glass.

Now you need to winterize again unless there’s no more risk of freezing? Why did you need to start the engines with no outdrive…were you diagnosing something? if that’s the case you didn’t need to add the water if you were just gonna start it up right quick and turn it off.

@mikebartlett97369 ай бұрын
So going away from dock you go port forward and turn wheel towards dock rt? You go too fast for most of us. I use the sticks and just go port forward and starboard reverse and that gets me off the dock usually
@nordicDIYchannel9 ай бұрын
Hi, so the principle is to push and pull in "rotation centre" of the boat. So going towards the dock I put starboard in forward and turn starboard. Then put port in reverse and turn port. Going away from the dock is port in forward and turn port . Then put starboard in reverse and turn starboard. This is how the joystick boat do it but they use a computer and also turn the drives independently.

Hi. Mate I love your channel. Two things, for the snap buttons you need to use a press machine(also need to test them because most coming from China are not stainless) . Punching the snap buttons with a hammer doesnt work well - there is several channel promoting that stuff from sailrite and people don't say anything about it. For a good stitching, get one of those sailrite clones, they work very well.I sewed 3 layers with a thick clear in the middle and the machine sews through like breeze. You need to sew a strip of black vinyl on the edges of inside of the covers to add more strength. The way you have it, the clears will break loose from the fabric with a strong wind . I am making mine and it's a lot of trial and error but eventually I got them right. Maybe you can do later a non biased review of these sewing machines

to much music and not enough explaining. what are you using for materials, what equipment are you using to sew it up? Has anyone found a video of sewing canvas for a small boat where they actually explain what they are doing and why along with the materials and equipment used? I meed to make a bimini top and a canvas cover for the bow seats of my stingray bow rider.

I would agree with your diagram if the vertical axis was fuel per hour. Not fuel per mile. As it is now traveling for a certain distance, at 15 knots you will burn less than at 23 knots and that is not the case at least with my boat....

Sorry man. Wasted time watching this. I need to see how to get that ring in. I have all the tools and still can't get it in. This isn't my first time doing this. Last time was easy with homemade tool.

Sorry for the editing I had problems with the ring so I eventually sprayed some WD-40 on it and it slipped right in Don’t know if that was good though But it seems to stay in place 😁

@@nordicDIYchannel I FINALLY fought it until I got it in. Not a single video says anything about putting lube on the retainer ring. First I tried it with wheel bearing grease then it slipped in extremely easily. I just barely tugged on it with my fingers and it popped back out. So, I cleaned it all up and used starting fluid to degrease. I put a little 5200 marine adhesive on it, slipped right in, then let it set over the weekend. It is firmly glued in place now. Hopefully I'll have time to make a video with pictures I took of the whole process of bellows and gimbal bearing install. I've done several in the past but this one was ridiculously troublesome.
