I enjoyed this video so much. My Mum, Susan Taylor, was born in New Street Bloxwich in 1916 (during a Zeppelin raid), and I have always enjoyed visiting the town and relatives there. I remember how excited my aunt was when ASDA was built. Dad and I would time how long it would be before she told us: "I got it in ASDA". Thank you so much for posting this

Nice to hear the Bloxwich twang again through the memories shared. I was fostered and raised on Dudley Fields Estate by my foster parents Katherine and Earnest Dolman who moved there in the late 1940s. I was lucky to be brought up in a great environment by good solid people who had made Bloxwich their home for all their adult lives.

Brilliant !!!! True Bloxwich. Well-done to everyone who contributed to keeping history of Bloxwich going. Talking about there experiences keeps those memories alive for others. Do hope there will be more. ❤

It's lovely to see Bloxwich, my dad's old mate Jack told me about the film, I sat with my Dad 81 who grew up in Bloxwich, Grandad was in the choir travelling the country with the choir, bowls club. The Bloxwich way doesn't stop when you leave its values are instilled in the generations that follow community is central to all of us a community cafe brings so much enrichment.
