thank you very much. my mother gave me my father(who died in 2019) and i was so happy and sad but i wanted to know how it worked out so in a stuped moment i opened it and it fell lose and i was sad and watched alot of videos and nothing worked until i saw your video and if finally worked and i would be wearing the ring until it gets smaller than my pinkey

Hands down this is the best instruction ever for the classic 8-piece 🙏🤗🤙 I paused after each segment and made sure everything was exactly as on your film. The last part is tricky if you (as I) have a thick thumb. I feel like i just won an Olympic medal in patience! Tip to strugglers: make sure you get each pair on the correct side of each other before you start, if they’re not snug and tight you have to carefully swap them without bending them.

OMG THANK YOU!!!!! My husband got me this puzzle ring when he went to Egypt. It fell one day and I've never been able to put it back together. I kept treating it like a four band puzzle ring. QUITE DIFFERENT!!!!! I thought one ring broke off. I kept thinking it was an 8 band ring but all the tutorials for the eight band ring looked different. Mahm, you explained this sooooo clear. It went together so nice. I have been trying for OVER 20 years. I can't thank you enough.

What if we didn't have a chance to study the ring before it was taken apart and we can't identify any points for the outside segments? The puzzle ring I am trying to fix was my Grandmother's and it's been apart for close to 25 years, my mother took it apart as a teenager and no one has been able to fix it since. None of us know what type it is and they don't remember what it's supposed to look like, so I have no point of reference.

FINALLYYYYYYYYY!!! I just wanna say what my problem was. 3 days of struggling with drawings and 1 video which didnt help. The problem was when I folden it against each other and looked for the figure 8 (which took 2 days to get the 2 bands inside the figure 8), my 2 figure 8 bands were crossed and not laying flat!!!!!! UGHHH! Finally i juggled it about a bit so the figure 8 holes were lined up better, I had them off a bit and it was causing the 2 bands to cross instead of lay flat so IF anyone gets stuck flipping, make sure you turn the inside bands rightside up to check how they line up, if they are crossed, it wont work, I even tried doing it backwards LOL! a few adjustments was all it took, inserting the points and folding the last outside bands down was a piece of cake. Just couldnt figure out why the insides were crossing instead of lying flat against each other. HERE IS THE KEY: LOOSE HANDS!!!! DONT HOLD THE INSIDE BANDS TOO TIGHT AND THEY HAVE TO LYE FLAT AGAINST EACH OTHER. thank youuuuuu!!! i GLUED IT TOGETHER WITH E6000 glue, that baby aint going anywhere anymore 🤣

Tami, you are a star. My puzzle ring came apart and I have watched multiple videos to try and re-assemble it. Watching your video I was able to get the first 3 bands together but trying to get the 4th one in caused it to open up too far and fall apart. Took me a few more days of watching that last step over and over and I just now got it!!!

I cannot thank you enough for this fabulous video. I finally got my mothers ring from the 70s put back together!
