I got a 2015 CLS63s AMG… The AMG button won’t save the car having traction control off. Do you always have to do that manually?
@chrispy104k19 сағат бұрын
Great video but….. At 6:41 you can see that the hole the pin fits into has a ramp on one edge which is the real problem here. Flipping the pin end for end won’t solve the issue in the longer term since eventually that end of the pin will wear. What you need to do is replace that plate. The real issue is that the metal on that plate is soft and that’s why you see that ramp forming since over time the pin is eroding that edge. There are aftermarket plates available which are machined from harder steel which is the only long term solution.

I would recommend doing a coolant flush instead of just topping it off with coolant.

Interesting design, can the "wiper service" mode be activated using a bi-directional scan tool?
@DriveTalkCars5 күн бұрын
I am not sure. I would think it could. However, Aston Martin has a very tight hold on their products and software. Any off the shelf scan tool wouldn’t work, bi-directional or not. Thanks for watching!

I had some tires dry rot on me and my concern was UV protection since then. From what ive been told. VRP is the best UV protectant, tire kicker is their "high shine vrp". If you live in a place with high intensity UV in the summer make that a consideration.

Can flex be added on a wet car and rinsed off with the pressure washer. If not how is this best applied
@DriveTalkCars9 күн бұрын
It sure can. That’s how I prefer to do it. However, one thing that I noticed is the wax does build up on your drying towels and you may have to use more than one towel. Also, sometimes the wax smears when drying. Just have to buff it out with clean towel.

My guy! @4:17 yes that was a awesome move! @ 8:42 You stated 8.3 liters of oil... most dont know how to put .3 of oil into the car, it would have been great for you to mark it on the product. Overall good video.

a tip on the brake bleeding, you're gonna want to bleed all four calipers starting with the farthest from the brake master cylinder (where you pour in more fluid ) . to the closest . this way you get a complete flush .

If you don't mind me asking, how long does this typically take?
@DriveTalkCars5 күн бұрын
It takes a little bit of time since you have to fully wash car prior to doing the clay bar. I would say at least an 1hr+.

@DriveTalkCars19 күн бұрын
Thanks. Yeah, I think I did one too many coats which caused it to become too dark. Initially the color was really good, but then I did another coat and it was a wrap… Trial and error 🤷🏽♂️. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I added additional wire length to the Fuse Tap Adapter wire, all 16 gauge Red wire. No need for buying a variety of colored wires you may never use. Just buy one roll of 16 gauge RED wire which is all that is needed. I've not seen/watched a single hardwire kit install video that added more wire length to the existing Fuse Tape Adapter wire.

Hello I replaced all air suspension, but rear passenger side airbag hisses and goes down. Could the new air bag be damaged? 2010 MB E550 w212 (new - compressor, valve, fuse/relay all others are fine front and back) Any idea what may be causing this?

Great video sir - one thing to note is to always use a torque wrench by holding the grip area at the end. If your hand is not there it will give you a different resultant torque. ❤

My advice to anyone with a modern engine. Change the oil regularly - synthetic every 6-8k miles at most. Lots of systems relying on clean, good oil.
