Oh my god, I had this video saved because I love the energy and how the lyrics match up with the feelings of the girls especially at the end, but after revisiting I realize just how much of a masterpiece this is. I actually had an idea to create a video with my friends representing the characters and I thought I was being original. I have not been able to make my video yet but from the looks of the description each one of the girls matches one of your friends on top of the fact that this video literally slaps on its own making this far better than anything I could have dreamt. I will now subscribe because I have become an admirer

6:45 8:40 this scene of about 2 minutes reminds me (and a lot of us) of those times. Those good times when we had not much to worry about, when those laughs with our friends and loved ones were not fake or temporary, but came from the bottom of our hearts and stayed with us for a longer time than usual. Those good times that were lost to the never ending flow of time a long long time ago. Right now, I'm 24, I just lost my appa(father) a couple of months ago, I'm expected to be the bread provider for my mom and my elder sis but I'm still not getting any permanent job to sustain my mom and sis. I'm not really depressed yet, but I just feel so dreaded without a job, sitting in my room doing barely anything meaningful, having to answer everyone who asks me (and mom and sis too) about my current job status with a slight grin and a shameless "unemployed rn" as a default response. As if this was not enough, I occasionally get accused by my mom that I never really cared for my appa when he was struggling in hospital coz I let him struggle all on his own and didn't really helped him with anything meaningful. As an evidence, she brings up the fact that I didn't really wept for my appa when he died. All I know is that I couldn't cry that day coz it just didn't came out then. But I was goddamn sure, I'll cry my share eventually but gradually. (I can never be mad at her for this tho, I'm pretty sure even she regrets talking like that) I may have had a couple of friends in my childhood and teenage years who were like these lots in Azumanga Daiyoh but they moved on and got busy with their own lives. Then, I thought I had a bff, a bro in that one guy, but he turned out to be a fraud who just wanted my money and also wanted to fuck my sister. So I never gave a damn about making new friends coz of that fraudster. This likely would never be read in full by anyone but Azumanga Daiyoh is probably the only show of any kind that I got attached with emotionally. Like, seriously attached with it emotionally. When the 26th episode ended, especially with those schoolgirls bowing down with a "Thank You Very Much for watching" message, it felt like I lost something important. No other shows or movies did that to me. I highly recommend it to anyone who haven't watched it yet.
