The best way to race Dale sr. was to actually be Jeff Gordon Say what you want Gordon and Dale sr. WERE the show in the 90’s Couple points of interest From the time the 24 won his first title the 3 never won another And when the 3 was gone Gordon never won another. People talk about Dale’s 7 championships Take a look at how many times he came in second in points. Dale IS and always will be the best stock car driver of all time.

@@rcracer8872 Who is biased here? Do you want to compare Dale's states to Petty's? Lol! 200 wins and 7 Daytona 500's!! Let me guess, it was easier then. Lol. Then let's compare Dale to Jimmie! Point blank, countless publications named drivers of the century in 1999. Dale NEVER was voted top of the list in ANY publication. Even Rusty said Bobby Allison was a better driver until Dale died, then he became a martyr. Mister one-time Daytona 500 champ (the Super Bowl of stock car racing) is by far the most overrated driver of all time.

@jasonwiggins61375 жыл бұрын
Then neither one of you watched NASCAR, or you're just biased and put it out of your mind. Dale was spun out countless times, especially in his early years. Bobby Allison beat him up regularly and gave him his original nickname Ironhead. Even Jimmie Spencer nailed him after this race they're talking about and almost put him in wall because he didn't like the way Dale handled Terry at the finish. Dale was not God and MANY drivers didn't take his BS. Tim Richmond, Davey Allison, Bobby Allison, Cale, Rusty, even Jeremy Mayfield put him in his place.
