I was the public address announcer for a city that had two schools that played Denton Guyer when the school opened. Those first seasons at Guyer were challenging. I felt sorry for those first varsity squads. I am happy to see the program has become a perineal Texas football powerhouse.

Texas football is NEXT LEVEL You have to see it to understand it My son played for Celina- who has a weight room, training facilities and a field that are better than many colleges Guyer…everyone knows about them Great job on this series

Thank - you sir!! I grew up in west Texas, and remember Celina knocking our 325 Sweetwater Mustangs out deep in the playoffs in 2014. Great tradition in Celina. I’m blessed to say, I should be collaborating with TXHSFB company to promote specifically Texas High School Football facilities. Celina is one of the first three episodes i will be writing and producing. I’m excited to bring it to life next month! I hope I can bring honor to you, your son, and the Celina community.

Texas football is like New York basketball… they hype themselves up like they are the greatest but, you can’t find anyone outside of their area to concur. Nobody cares if you don’t win at the highest levels

Well done! I coached for 30 years and also believe relationships are the key. Wins are great but there are other kinds of wins that happen almost daily that you never see and may be more important the actual game itself. Love to see these young coaches so involved in their players’ lives. Texas High School Football, Friday Night Lights, is so powerful. I miss it but now I get to watch my son play. It’s going to be great. Great documentary! Congratulations!!

Cheating is unethical, and I would agree, recruiting tampers with the integrity of the game. The UIL should hold each and every program accountable for their misdoings.

I went to Calallen in the 90s. The recruiting was pretty obvious. One running back had an apartment rented for him for 3 years. We'd get about 3 new guys per year. Their dad's would be assistant coaches until their kids graduated, or their moms would work in the administration office until their sons graduated. That went on until a couple of years ago.

@goodkarmaaa_ I do utilize a REC 709 LUT conversion for my LOG footage, however the color grading is done manually using Lumetri Scopes, and Lumetri Color Wheels.
