Hello, watching the replay. Awesome tips, we always want to know how to keep our hair right! If you will be staying in 1 place for a while, it’s worth it to dedicate a checked bag with necessary hair & beauty products.

...if we're willing to become acquainted with another country, then the other things will be easier. i use this one question to myself, "is it worth the trade-off?" what am i willing to do without or seek alternatives as i try to prioritize what my freedom from hostility means to me. 😘

Good morning ❤, I stopped using sugar over a decade ago. I sweeten everything with Agave Syrup. I can get two big bottles from Costco, Kirkland's brand. A tiny bottle in Ecuador is very expensive. I beg everyone coming to bring me some 😊

Have you ordered from 32 Degrees? They carry some of the stuff at Costco, but ordering direct is great. Leggings, socks, undies, and base layers: this place is my go to.

Hello. I’m currently in Costa Rica, on my very first visit. It is a scouting trip for my family to hopefully move here. I love it here. Currently in Escazu, and moving in a few days to Limon, which we’ve heard so much about. We did a walking tour of San Jose, and I am very impressed with the city. But my family likes the beach more, so onward and upward.😊😊

Stephanie, I enjoy this channel very much and I’m also an African woman however, I’m not comfortable with you only emphasizing black women in all of your videos. I understand it’s the “niche” you chose probably based on some personal experience you had but I just wanted to say that all/most of the topics you cover affect women of ALL race. This is something so typical to the US where everything is based on race😢. I think women go through a lot already in society that it’s not necessary to divide us like that. I typically don’t follow channels that put so much emphasis on race but I’m only here because I just signed up for trusted sitters. I hope your perspective eventually changes.

She’s an African American woman speaking from her native perspective. She’s unique in how her approach is because it’s primarily geared towards fellow AA women, who have been imprisoned by toxicity in their jobs, lives, etc. Sure, her message can be relatable to other cultures outside of the US, as you have mentioned. But here in the US, race is inescapable and not optional. I don’t believe that Stephanie would be her authentic self if she didn’t express herself as she is and knows. Hope that makes sense!

After being a Science teacher, Dishwasher, Cashier, Technical Support Agent, Sales woman, Secretary, Certified NursingAssistant, Driver. I realized its our society that tries to ingrained this concept that a job can give you value. I never felt valued by my jobs because they always paid me barely enough. Exposed me to disease, death, and belittlement. All things I could have lived without before experiencing them. I went through the military, medical lab, nursing homes, education system and call centers. But I see how we attach our identites to titles/income. I felt like the person they used to compare themselves to. Thanks for this video, I have been there. As a Haitian woman my identity was found in being married/finding a man/job. But I am glad we are able to process through these mindsets.
