Nice van. I have short wheelbase 1995 Chevrolet G20 van with 90,000 original miles on the 4.3 V-6. It is unfortunately rusting out but still looks new on the inside. It runs and drives great with cold air conditioning. It is nice to know there are still some rust free examples available out there.

CAn you give any input please!

Your problem is in the back rear of the van. You need to take the cover off the fan and see if there's anything plugged inside of it

Why did Detroit design this bumper garbage? Beautiful overall exterior with mickey mouse parts, what a joke. Could a master fabricator weld in permanent fillers? Considering all that hard work, the color match is off.

I did the bypass exactly like the video. But instead of solving the issue, it went from 0% airflow going to the vents to 5%. The major airflow still goes to defrost. Any suggestion?
@CHASINGPROFITS2 ай бұрын
You have an additional vacuum leak, remove the dash control and on the back make sure all vacuum lines are connected and not leaking. Secondly remove the console covering the engine and see if you hear a vacuum line leaking. You can always bypass other lines by running new ones from the control to the places they go to in the engine. For example as you would remove and replace wires on spark plugs 1 By 1. Please subscribe for this info bud

After reading the comments, everyone blames Ford for the inconveniences of replacing the gaskets. Gaskets are generally replaced after 150K to 200K miles. Ford can't put EVERYTHING in an easy to replace spot. Things that need attention every 15K miles ARE easy to get to. Valve cover gaskets that need replaced every 10 years should be harder than replacing the alternator.
