What s the point of modifying the colour if u sell it as a police interceptor ? As a client I would have liked the car in the original colour black and white this could be a reason of accepting the high mileage. If I wanted a grey Ford Explorer I could have bought a new one from dealership

1.Unless you are law enforcement you cannot drive a black and white vehicle is CA. 2. The performance will always outbeat the regular civilian ford explorer as this is not an explorer it's a PIU. 3. In CA we have special departments who drive gray metallic vehicles specially undercover detectives and gang units. 4 high miles? You must not be familiar with the interceptor engines and what they are designed for. I welcome to read on the interceptor upgrades. Have a blessed day.

As a European Union customer u can drive black and white cars in EU but of course u can not have any stickers or emblems with the words police or polizei or something like thar and also u can not have any emergecy phone numbers on the car. 112 is the E U emergency number instead of 911 Although europeans who love US police cars found a way to get on the black and white US police interceptors stickers like PURSUIT , INTERCEPTOR or even SHERIFF for daily use.

My grand marquis 2005 gs turn signals dont work and wont show on the dash but the hazards do work and show up on the dash and my brake lights and tail lights work sometimes but other times they dont come on what could it be?

Hard to diagnose but check your brake pedal sensor, you might have a loose wire loosing contact like a ground that makes your issue intermittent.

I bought a 2006 P 71 with 6000 idle hours and 168,000 miles for $2500. She now has 230,000 miles, yeah the tranny had to be rebuilt a few months ago And I had an accelerators sensor issue. Otherwise, it’s just been a tank. I work in the city on bad roads and I drive in a spirited fashion. I couldn’t be happier. It’s almost like you don’t need to fix these things up like this to get a good one All that said what a beautiful car original paint…..how about it….amazing

Do you ever get any with the twin turbos in white? I live in Florida and I would like a white interceptor with the SHO drivetrain. 3.7 with twin turbos, all wheel drive. I would like the pushbar and the K9 enclosure as well as we have large dog who loves to go for rides...

Honestly they do become available, but I stay away because of the turbos.. they can really be a headache so I always prefer the 3.7 NA. As far as the k9 we can always install it.

This has helped so much. Recently bought a '13 Ford PIU and we can't get the rear AC controls, or plugs to work for the back. With it being summer I hate to think of my kiddo or dogs suffering in the heat while waiting for the front AC to get to the back.

Remove the panel under the steering wheel. You will see shinney electrical wire on a bundle of wires. That does not look factory. Remove the electrical tape i found a plug disconnected. Plugged them together and horn worked. Mine was a 2017

My 2013 rear passenger door will not open from the outside or the inside. I try pull up on the knob and nothing. No clicking from pushing the unlock button. Nothing. And it just happened out of the blue
