Make sure that your system is grounded all the way back to the outlet, a cheap HF meter will do the trick

Thank You. I’m looking to build a jig of this nature, this is far and above the best I’ve seen. To improve the hold on the log adding sharp pointed screws that stick out about 1/8” in the clamp pads.

By the time you spend over 250.00 on the M carbo upgrade kit you could buy the new S&W 22 magnum pistol and have a solid gun.

Kirk , I get it and you're not wrong . But my friend has spent 400 bucks on after market parts he could barely afford just to get it to function . Spent enough on that pos piece of plastic that he could have bought a real gun .

I just took my new PMR 30 too the range. I did nothing too the gun but load it and shoot it. I did not lube it at all. I shot 100 rounds through it and only had 3 failure to eject all the way. Not bad for a new gun. I have since disassembled it and lubed the hell out of it. No more problems. Love the gun.

No one ever mentions it, but I wonder if there aren't torque specifications for those screws were you can mount a Red Dot ? This isn't the first time I've heard of people diddling with that plate, and gum'n up the works !
@sleeve8651
@sleeve8651 4 ай бұрын
I'm guessing there is a Torque spec on those screws ? Perhaps if it is out of spec, it may cause the top to cantor, or lean to one side, causing the Firing pin to bind ?

Are they brand new mags? If yes then follow the magazine break-in formula. Also, if you haven’t read the instruction booklet, please do so as it has critical information on ammo grain weight usage.

I had the same issue on my 2019 Gmc 1500 SLT 4x4. Replaced the front pads only on my own. about a 30 min. job, very easy but then I got the same exact message. Front pads wouldn't engage when attempting to drive vehicle. I did put the truck in service mode before doing anything. A buddy of mine with a scanner cleared the codes and all was fine after that. I'm dreading doing the rear, I just ordered of rock auto. I do have a code reset tool off of amazon, just in case. (I can't reset the % on the dash though, I read on forums dealer is the only one who can do it for around $200. I don't know how true that info is though)

Excellent video my friend! I've been looking at making one of these. I will definitely use this video as a reference. I think I will make the first two cuts on this sled and then use the fence. Seems like that would be quicker. Thanks!

A simple straight forward design that is practical that works. Nice. Thank you for presenting this. Looking forward to building one of my own. There are lots of short log pieces needing to be cut that have been stacked up for a couple years just waiting for such a system as yours. Time to get busy. Thank you again. Stay blessed.

I have a PMR30 & two P17's and Kel-Tec Recommends that You Not take those Parts off and you should not go any further when cleaning. I'm not quite sure that your prognosis is totally correct in this Video and You might Be Wrong! My Fire Pin Broke at about 1000 rounds and I installed a new one but It took me a long time to do this because I'm Not a Gun Smith But I did it anyway. We as amateur Gun Smiths can't always be right and assume we have solved a problem. Good Luck to you in the future with your PMR30 and mine works fine now!
