Wow don't know how you actually enjoyed the flight. I've done this route five times now, taking off and landing is always enjoyable, but the rest....ten hours feel like 20!

just a pity that muslims have taken over the grounds as theirs, be horrified if you like people, its the start, this beautiful place will be destroyed as they exert their lack of reason on the place, the stone lions will be removed as they cause ofence, soon we wont be able to visit there as regularly becuase of muslim special days - we are losing our lands

LCY has a tiny runaway

@mapleavenue77. Already since September 2009 BA has been bluiding an all new Embraer LCY fleet, consisting of 6 E170's and shortly 7 E190's. Nothing got changed regarding LCY's runway, it's just a very capable aircraft. Still very short! On a good day we can almost takeoff out of LCY at Max Takeoff Weight on the E170. The E190 has been specially adapted and branded the E190 SR. (Short Runway)

How long have E170/190s been going into London City? I've just started to notice them recently. Did they lengthen the runway? I thought it was an STOL aiport.

NIce video. I can only fly this approach on my Flight Simulator X, and I'm glad to see the real thing. Interesting to see LCY evolving. Just a few years ago the tarmac had mostly Avro RJs, and now the E-Jet is starting to take over.

@pikemaster92 Nee. In die tijd zaten zowel de KLM, Sabena en Oxford op Sctottsdale airport. Maar dat werd gewoon te druk en toen is Oxford verhuisd naar Goodyear en de KLM en Sabena naar Falcon Field. Ik zat trouwens bij Oxford (via EPST) en wij waren de laatste klas op Scottsdale in die tijd.

@pikemaster92 Het is een top veld. Veel Apache helikopters ook met een mooie final approach. Stond ook veelvuldig een active B25 Mitchell.

It's a new type for British Airways from London City Airport. They operate both this and it's bigger sister the Embraer 190. It replaces all their old aircraft.

Really no need to be scared of flying in general. Statistically still the safest way to travel. You'll like our new Embraer jets. New and modern aircraft with an excellent safety record. Maybe I'll be flying you if you let me know the flightnumber/time/date. (pm possible)

Well, it was more suttle than you'd expect and indeed plenty of spare runway. Flight was nearly full. Autobrake medium is the max we use upon landing at LCY.

It was. About 10 flights or so were included in the overall price.

It's a really nice and comfortable aircraft. Not only for our passengers but also for us crew. Our E190's have even got a 34inch pitch!

It actually went by quite fast. Really enjoyed this flight with BA.

love hw u got the flight recorded when your just above the clouds. Would be good if you got landings and takeoff to and from above cloud :)
